Kiro looked around, holding his his baseball bat close to his chest
He quickly looked into the hallway and nothing was there
"...thank god..." he whispers under his breath
He creeps out of the front door and looks at the mess around him
"...."
He just inhales deeply and creeps around to the back of the house, to the shed

Victor started to wander around the outside area, watching to make sure if any Zombies were around he would be able to run. His eyes were glazed over with slight tears as he saw a few of his close friends now dead and walking around. He kept walking around carefully, trying not to cry when he saw more people he knew. He was raised in this town and the people who lived here knew him too, and now they were dead..

Maveric and Lani stood by the front of the house, watching him go around the house. Maveric asked, "You okay...?" Lani just looked at all the dead bodies, sad. What's worse is that she had a sinking feeling that this was the new normal. Maveric kept looking over his shoulder, making sure the coast was clear. He had so far routed ways they could escape if needed.

" No... " He said with a weak sad voice. " I know I couldn't of saved em' but I could of done something to help them.. Now they are like this and there is nothin' I can do to help them now.. I should of been here for my small part of the city but instead I hid like a coward.. now my family is gone, probably almost all dead and I am gonna live on. I was the one that should of gone first. "

Kiro opens the shed door to a horrific sight: A dead human with something sticking out of their chest
"...oh my god..."
He tried to hold back a scream and walked away
He soon arrives to a house with a recently broken window
"..I guess...welcome home?"

"Hey kid. Time to go, we gotta keep moving" Barry said to April as she made sure she had everything. "I left some clothes out for you in the room across the hall, pick something nice out, your old clothes stink" Barry said. "I'll be at the front door, just come down when you're ready" He said, and April nodded, heading into the other room.

"All ready!" April said, hopping down the stairs with a new set of clean clothes, secretly having an extra shirt stashed in her bag in case she needed it. "So... where exactly are we moving to?" She asked, tilting her head as Barry opened the door and stepped out.

"Gun ready?" He asked, ignoring her question. April rolled her eyes, pulling out the gun. "Good. As for location- who knows? We go until we stop" Barry said, giving a vague answer like he always did. "We'll stop going some day, one way or another" He said, a little quieter, unsure if April heard or not.

"Uh! Barry!" April said with a sharp whisper, pointing urgently to someone nearby the house

The siblings were silent for a while. Maveric spoke up and said, "No, you should not have gone first." Maveric might not have been able to save his little brother, but he sure as hell wasn't gonna let Victor commit suicide. "It wasn't your fault. Some of them died from the spill, others from zombies and others from other things, but survival of the fittest. If they would've hid in safe places, most of them would be alive right now too. And if that's not enough, I know how you feel." Maveric swallowed hard before continuing. "I was with my little brother when he killed himself. I could have stopped it, but I didn't." His voice broke. "He told me before hand that he was gonna do it. But I thought he was joking. I knew that if my dad found out that it was my fault that Cash died, he would have never let me live it down. So I never told anyone. I pretended to find his body. Not long after that, my dad got infected. And to this day, I torture myself saying, 'It was all your fault. You're the reason why he's dead. If you would've told somebody, he would still be here. You were such a terrible brother. You hardly ever told him you loved him, that people cared about him. It's all your fault...' and on top of that, I can't get rid of it. No matter what I try or do or what anyone says, I never let myself live it down." Maveric swallowed hard again. Lani pursed her lips beside him. She had known, and he had tried everything to stop him from telling himself that.

Victor looked at Maveric with a look of sorrow in his hazel eyes, he knew how this man had felt because many he had felt the same about him not being able to save so many of his friends.. his own lover died to this. He sighed and nodded with a calm expression coming over him, though by the look in his eyes he was not calm at all. " I am so sorry that happened to your brother Maveric.. I am sorry he went out like that. It ain't your fault you coulda stopped em' them but he would of kill himself when you weren't around no matter what you did friend. " He spoke softly in a soothing voice.
He paused for a moment and looked to the sky with a slight sad grin before looking back to the group. He knew they were healthy enough to make a longer trip so after thinking for few moments he suggest something. " How about we try to get to the main part of town? The southside away fro the graveyards because that would not be the smartest of ideas. "

Rose kept wandering around trying desperately to find other people that might help her find her brother. She seemed frail at this point, little weight on her and small marks and scratches all over her body. She heard voices in the distance Must be a man.. with a girl? She said trying to hear the voices better. Without thinking she called out " A-Anyone there? " She said with a slightly louder voice, hoping that it wasn't one of the bad people she had been running into lately.
