I think players should be able to get a gift on their birthdays. I also think it would be cool if the gifts got better every year players are on Sylestia! An example could be a random themed pet the first year, the second year could be something like a majestic essence and for the third year, you could get something like 100,000 gold. What do you think?

I like the idea but only if the gifts aren't sellable/tradeable/breedable.

I like the idea in concept, but the rewards you've outlined seem way too high for something trivial like a birthday. Perhaps loyalty-themed avatar exclusives, which you can unlock by being a player a certain number of years, each year.
