Allllrighty ladies and gentlemen, I finished a max frostfeather griffi project some time ago and it's time to make pretty colors!! I'd like to have some ready by winter festival so I can do a little giveaway of some dyed stat griffi, but don't know what sort of color themes to pick~ Let me know how you feel about these, or even include your own designs if you want! Here's what I'm trying to pick between so far and am hoping to narrow down to 2 or 3 designs:

(Unnamed berry-like griffi, purple and blue versions)


(Royal, Terror)


(Antique, Dark Purple)


(Strawberry Finch, Icy Purple)

Ooo, such pretty designs! I like Terror and Antique best! Royal is really nice too.

Between the two berry ones, I like the blue one better since the purple is too similar to the body color and gets a bit lost. The blue has some more contrast ^^

Same with Dark Purple and Icy Purple. I like the contrast in Icy Purple while the Dark Purple looks a tad monochromatic.

For max stats, I tend to like designs with more contrast since they stand out more, especially since the image is so tiny when you're battling. Hope that helps :)

Huh, that's a really crazy excellent point that I never once considered. I always work with large images when making color themes, but you're totally right we usually only see a much smaller version of the image! xD I think that'll help me make more successful themes in the future, thank you. <3
