Hi! Just curious, whats the point of making pets infertile? I cant seem to find anything on it.

It is typically done to project pets that people have spent a long time and a lot of resources on. They infert the offspring so others dont use all their hard work and undercut them.

I sometimes make pets Im never going to breed infertile just to get their names out of the breeding menu. Less names makes it easier to find the pets Im looking for, especially since over half of my pets are unnamed.
It is typically done to project pets that people have spent a long time and a lot of resources on. They infert the offspring so others dont use all their hard work and undercut them.
Draumrkopa has it spot on! This is the biggest reason that people infert pets, and it definitely keeps the sylestian economy healthy.
And Spiritbeast covers a second point that some people do as well. I do this to pets that have no traits, I will infert them to reduce the number of useless breeder pets that newer players use to mass produce dishwasher pets.
