Design Name: Vibrant Blossom Sylvorpa
Overall Rating (out of 10): 7/10
Criticism: I would make the colors *slightly* brighter. Not much brighter, just very slightly.
Other Notes: I'm not the best judge of vorpas, I'm not a huge fan of them in general. I don't really know what current vorpa themes look like to judge accurately if this is a great theme design or not.

Design Name: Midsummer Night Ferrikki
Overall Rating (out of 10): 8/10
Criticism: I would, again, make the colors very slightly brighter. They're a bit dull at the moment and I feel they blend in too much with the base color. Other than that, I like it.
Other Notes: 10/10 would buy/grow/catch/etc.

Design Name: Clouded Sunset Nixi
Overall Rating (out of 10): 9/10
Criticism: On the male, I think the orange blends in a bit too much with the hot pink. Other than that, it's perfect.
Other Notes: This DEFINITELY looks like a sunset. 10/10 would hoard.

Design Name: Blue Iris Firefly Nephini
Overall Rating (out of 10): 10/10
Criticism: Perfect color scheme, I love it, it looks great. No criticisms here.
Other Notes: 11/10 would hoard and make a project out of.

Design Name: Misty Amaryllis Puffadore
Overall Rating (out of 10): 11/10
Criticism: GORGEOUS. This is a GORGEOUS theme. I really hope this gets chosen someday!!
Other Notes: 30/10 would have an entire stable full of them

Design Name: Snowy Sunfall Luffox
Overall Rating (out of 10): 10/10
Criticism: I don't even like luffoxes and I really like this!! The colors are great, it makes me think of a frozen pond for some reason? I like it very much
Other Notes: 10/10 would catch/grow in a heartbeat. I really hope this gets chosen as a theme someday

I hope this was of some help!

So I'm going to preface this by saying I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to fest theme submissions or the guidelines there fully regarding alternate palettes (I know both genders are supposed to have the same palette.. so..)
But I like to draw and make designs myself so I have a bit of an artistic eye with colors. :p
I'll keep color theory mostly in mind going through these since they aren't all to my personal tastes.

Design Name: Midsummer Night Ferrikki
Overall Rating (out of 10): 7/10
Criticism: While the muted pink and cobalt blue base colors of the design look really good and provide a very complementary "late sunset" feel, I feel like the darkness of the straight #000000 C2 really mutes out the facial features of the Rikki and detracts from the design.
Other Notes:
Suggestion: Lighten up the C2 with either a lighter black shade (#2B2B2B)? or match the C2 to the C1 (#1B3647)
I have the same criticism for the female 'alternate.' The #001A4F C2 is too dark. Try #254B63?

Design Name: Snowy Sunfall Luffox
Overall Rating (out of 10): 10/10
Criticism: While I personally don't think the name of the design here matches too much to the colors, I want to say I really like this color palette. It's soft, simple, and easy on the eyes and all the colors flow into each other well. Something I think works really well with Luffoxes.
Other Notes:
It almost reminds me of old porcelain china dishes.. or a snowy overcast sky.

Design Name: Blue Iris Firefly Nephini
Overall Rating (out of 10): (not going to rate this.. If that's alright. >_>)
Criticism: This one I really didn't want to critique since I'm usually pretty harsh on busier "high contrast" designs and really am hard to please with them. That being said, I do see a few things with this that could really pick up this palette imo.
First things first, the darkness of the blues in this design have a tendency to mute out the features of the Nephini, especially the C1/C3. It's not too bad as it is, but in combination of how eye catching both the neon orange and sky blue tones are, I find it just really stands out as a harsh contrast.
More on the contrast too is that orange is generally a complimentary color to blue, but here both the brightest of the orange and deep darkness of the blue are fighting against each other here and not in a much of a good way.
So what's one to do?
Either you can brighten the blue a bit and mute the orange, or you can play with the saturation of the blue more.
This is just out of me fiddling with it to explain what I'm referring to, you don't have to listen to any of this. :p

A possible result of muting the orange and brightening the blue.

And the saturation route. (Personally I think the mute orange/yellow would still look better going this route too)

With other traits, I also don't find the palette to be too personally appealing because there's no central focus point for an eye to rest. It's very busy and the orange is almost too loud, constantly trying to grab your attention and mutes out the rest of the colors.

I don't mind critiquing the others by the way. (I'm in love with that Nixi so I probably will lmao)
But this was already getting very long and I didn't want to seem too harsh in doing these. ^^;
