Welcome to the Writing Contest, hadn't hosted one of these in quite some time. But, again, welcome!
--------------------
RULES:
-You may be inspired, but not outright copying someone else. (copyright is a definite no-go here)
-Leave a warning if there is any immense amount of language or gore (post it on Google Docs if its going to get THAT intense)
-No bribing the other contestants to let you win.
-Once this deadline passes, that is the end of the 'entry round' to see who is joining us.
-Please check for sentence structure and any grammatical errors.
-Do not scare the Bane with a massive paragraph, she does not like this and she will freak. (have mercy)
-----------------
DEADLINE:
March, 22nd, 11:25PM (GAME TIME)
------------
PRIZES: You'll know after the contest ends, due to some past issues, I'm not putting it out at the beginning, so please, focus on the entries.
----------------
SETTING/THEME FOR THIS ENTRY (FIRST) ROUND:
There is a list of songs, under 'part a' and 'part b'. "Part A" harnesses songs that have lyrics in them. 'Part B" harnesses songs with no actual lyrics. You pick one song from each and use them in your story. You do NOT have to use the words in the stories. You do NOT have to part the stories out like 'part a' and 'part b'. But you do have to try and make it work, make it flow the best you can, and take inspirations from it. If it would help, you can preface it by summing up your inspirations for the parts in the story before I hop in and read it.As well as, before you start writing anything, SHOW which songs you picked.
Oh, and I recommend going through all the songs and letting yourself listen in a bit before speed picking.
