So, I've nurtured a TON of pets while at Sylestia. And when I checked out the scales shop, it had eggs. But it doesn't say what's inside the eggs. Is there any way to know, or is it just random?

The eggs are completely random

You can tell how many trait points it'll have though.

Also, there are some species that they cannot be, those being: any of the fabled species, puffadore, lunemara, and kelpari.
