Note: This takes place on a planet identical to Earth (or perhaps a different version of Earth), but think Hunger Games level advanced technology. Ask me for clarification if you wish.
No one is sure exactly when or why the Intuitive started showing up. They looked just like everyone else, except for their strange, although subtle, abilities. And it was this lack of knowledge that caused the fear.
At first, if you were found to be Intuitive, all you'd get was mistrust and dirty looks. The year after that was when the government began their experiments. And after rebellions and abuse of power, every Intuitive found was forced to be turned in. Some of them were kept to experiment on. All were eventually executed, and people found hiding Intuitives shared the same fate.
Recently, the game was stepped up as hunters were hired. Nearly all did it for the income, but a lot would make up tragic, exaggerated stories about how their loved ones were brutally slaughtered by an Intuitive, although most were not true. Technology was created that could track any Intuitives within a five mile radius, and many put it to good use. It was worth more if you could bring back your target alive, but it was still a fat paycheck for you even if you killed them.
The captured were treated like wild animals, trapped in an enclosure of sorts all together with food thrown in once a week or so, glass walls surrounding it all, to be studied. The only people who succeeding in leaving were heading to be executed or experimented on, then executed.
Whatever happens, it will take people on both sides of the glass to end this, for better or worse.
Yay.

- An Intuitive is an ability, but not like shooting lasers from your hands or something. It's always more subtle and (obviously) intuitive. Examples would be emotion detecting, cooking (fun), lockpicking, persuasion, killing (yes, actually) etc. Even animal speech, but not as a conversation, more as understanding intents if you get what I mean.
- Every Intuitive has a Flaw and a Fault. A Flaw is a disadvantage, for example if a person could tell if anyone was lying, but was unable to lie themselves. A Fault is a "break" in the ability or a situation where it cannot work, like if a person who could read every language was unable to do so if they could hear someone speaking the same language they were trying to read.
- Yes, you can be both Intuitive and Hunter, but either you wouldn't know it, or it's your strategy of hiding it.
- If you're Intuitive, you can either be on the run or already caught.

Rules (for the RP)
1. No being OP and/or godmodding. I will be watching, and I will kick you out if you do ;)
2. Try to have good middle school level (at least) grammar, and write a decent bit per post (meaning, try not to do one sentence for everything, but I understand if you have writer's block).
3. Violence and romance is fine, but you MUST put a warning or timeskip if it's not PG 13, and, like, still don't overdo things please.
4. As many characters as you can play. Just make sure you let me know if you're making a new one.
5. Try not to move on or do big things if only, like, two people are online. Yes, you can talk, no, you can't decide to blow up a building. Even so, don't make 10 pages of dialogue when everyone's gone.
6. Please don't use the pinglist every single time. Only use it from time to time and for your first few posts (or if you need a recap). Otherwise, only ping the people you're interacting or wish to interact with.
Tommy walked slowly down the street, his hoodie drawn carefully to hide his face. The sun was peeking through some clouds in the sky, making Tommy want to shield his eyes from the sun.
I better be careful, he thought looking around at the empty street, relief blossoming in him, at least I won't get pestered with all the thoughts of others...

Kasi was sitting on a cement ledge, overlooking the government building she had recently been in. Slowly she got up grabbing out the machine the people had given her, what did they call it, the power tracker? Oh right, they called them intuitive, she thought rolling her eyes as she looked at the device, more like power monsters.

Para was walking in a crowded street, trying to find a not so crowded place so she could visit what she thought was her real home. Pushing past someone she spotted an alley not the far away. She walked towards it, accidently running into someone. Mumbling an apology she finally made it into the alleyway and let out a sigh of relief, now no one would see her disappear or at least she hoped so.

Havardur looks around before glancing at his device again. Yes, there was an Initiative around. "OK. We've done this multiple times. Why turn back now? Also, it's not like there is Chloe to pester you all the time." He says to himself, turning a corner and walking down a road, weaving between people before glancing at the technology again. Yes, nearly there.
***
Chloe skips down the street, sharp eyes never missing a detail. She was coming close to the Initiative until... "Havardur, are you seriously after the same one?"
"Uh... Yes? Okay. I'll go find another. It's completely fine." Havardur says and before Chloe can object, he has disappeared into the crowd again. Chloe shrugs.
"Well then. That's a nice how do you do." She says with a scowl. She just wanted to find out what it was about Havardur that made her inner Intuitive searching signal go nuts. "And I'll figure him out... eventually."

Lilura keeps her gaze on the floor as she tries her best to not trip. Even though there was not really anyone around to divert her attention and seemingly nothing she could trip on she was still sure she would find something that would take away her undivided attention.
She looks around to make sure she won't bump into someone when her foot misses its mark and she takes a spill. "Whoops. Silly me." She brushes herself off and gets back up. There was a lot of that in her life, falling or making mistakes and rising back up for the next challenge.

(*yeets posting order in the garbage bin* Wow, you all confirmed to start while I was at Sci Bowl practice xD)
Eira
Eira stumbled and slid, almost losing her balance as she skidded around the corner, cursing under her breath as she scraped her hand against the wall. "Stupid rain," she muttered, her worn sneakers making a faint squeaking noise on the wet ground. She glanced over her shoulder, then relaxed slightly, pulling down her hood as she confirmed that she'd lost her pursuer. She slowed to a speed walk, not quite hurrying, but walking with a purpose, like she had somewhere to be. And she did, and that was to her 'base'. Not much more than a pile of blankets under a slightly drier overhang, but at least it was something. She'd found herself having to move much more often since the trackers or whatever they were called came out, she was no longer safe going with the crowd. Even though they were expensive, it was better safe than sorry. Lost in thought, she didn't notice when she stumbled into somebody.
Nathaniel
Nathan carried his backpack as if it were heavy, although it didn't contain much. Handcuffs, a granola bar, some rope, and a book. The heaviest thing in there was the book, and it wasn't for reading. It was for hitting people over the head with. His targets generally put up less of a fight if they were unconscious. He cringed, stopping for a moment next to a dripping wet bench, pretending to look through his backpack as he quietly observed the passerby. He couldn't afford one of those Intuitive trackers, so he had to rely on his own judgement. It was easier than you might think. All of the fugitives walked around with a sort of fear in their eyes. They knew they were being hunted. Nathan casually zipped up his bag and swung it back onto his shoulder, strolling down the street as if there was nothing really serious on his mind, but he had locked onto his target.
Leah
Leah grinned as she clicked the cuffs closed around her target's wrist. They were the latest in technology, designed to prevent Intuitives from using their fancy powers or whatever to escape. She checked the tracker that was strapped to her wrist, looking like a watch to anyone who glanced at it. The red dot marking her position was right on top of her target's orange one. She smiled to herself as she reported the successful capture, tapping a few buttons. Her target, a nine year old boy, whimpered as she headed towards the nearest government building with a spring in her step. She 'accidentally' let him smack into a streetlight as she passed it. "Whoops," she sang in a sugary sweet tone. "Keep it down, don't want to cause a ruckus, do you, sweetheart?" Then, she felt his collar yanked from her grip. She whipped around, thinking there was no way he could've escaped her, then she saw the figure escaping with her catch in their grasp. She growled how dare they? No matter, it was all just an inconvenience and if she caught them, she'd have double the reward for turning in a rogue hunter. She found herself grinning again as she made chase.

(im fine with Akira being caught right off the bat but i warn she does not go down quietly)
Akira Avalon
Akira walked through the streets, her black hoodie hiding her face. The hunter that had been chasing her disappeared off to who-knows-where, but she didn't have a problem with that. She'd suspected he'd found an easier target, a child perhaps. But she didn't feel sorry. She had to look out for herself, and no one else. Thats just how it was.She glanced up a little to see where this street was going, then turned into an alley way and emerged out on the opposite street. She had to keep moving, for now, at least. She'd thought about resting at some point, but she wasn't stupid. Resting would only get you killed, or worse, captured.

Casey sits in what he considers to be a cage--a small, cold room void of anything interesting. It was like an interrogation room, just without the mirror. He sat in the chair, tracing circles in the table with his finger. He hated being trapped in here, hated being alone, hated being an experiment. He was so tempted to bang his head against something, anything, just to be moved from here. And to finally be noticed. He hated that even when he wasn't using his powers, he was still very unnoticed. People tended to ignore him, more than he would like sometimes.

Tommy continued to walk, a light drizzle starting to fall, he pulled his hoodie up closer when he heard a thought. They were thinking something about a target, his skin started to crawl, though he kept himself calm, its fine, just act normal, he thought taking a deep breath as he let calmness spread across his whole body, looking behind him quickly he saw a boy with a backpack or at least maybe a boy, its a hunter, he reminded himself as he sped up, muttering under his breath about how he needed to get to the bakery nearby, which was true.
(You can catch Tommy if you really want Cana)
~~~~~~~
Kasi looks at the device in her hand, surprise flashing through her when she saw a dot on the screen, "A power monster," She whispered under her breath a smile appearing on her face, this is my chance!
She jumped of the little ledge she was on, landing on the ground with a tiny thud. She ran to where the dot was shown. She felt in her pocket, making sure the weird handcuffs the people had given her where there before looking up. There was a girl in front of her and as she watched the girl slipped and fell. Holding back a laugh she went over, checking her device on more time before slipping it into her pocket, "Hey, are you okay? You took quite a tumble."
[Oof I'd prefer Reuvan not caught right away, I actually want him to interact with a hunter normally first.[specifically Moonlitwolf's Lola, bc/ she seems like the most cunning evil b e a c h. And I feel like somehow they'd get along in some weird way. I also have this headcanon that he hasn't been detected and inserted into the system by the trackers yet for whatever reason so only appears to be a normal person]
