So, I've been thinking for a long time about a change, and I finally made the leap and changed my username from Lonefox to Ponder.
It took me a year to decide on the new name. Might give you an idea why I chose the name I did. XD
I'll be trying to find any ping lists I was on (there really should be a username change master thread) and notifying the appropriate people.
I also had a question to anyone else that changed a name after having one for a while: did it take you a while to get used to it? Did you have regrets? I'm sort of unsure if this was a good choice. XD Kind of curious what everyone thinks. Anyway, I've got a new name, and if I don't like it, I can change back or to something new.
I hope this is the right forum to put this in!

I have changed my username, like, 3 times, and now no one in the forums knows me anymore xD I think they got progressively better. I certainly hope they did :P My last one, Canawlia, was the one I liked the best. A few days after changing it, I saw my username in a forums and was like, "Who's that, is that a new person" for a second.
I don't regret this yet, but if I do end up hating in the future like all of the other ones, it's probably going to be because of the ie. I would've taken out the i, but that username was taken.
And also, possibly, because Sl33pl3ssnights keeps calling me Karen.

Yeah I've had my username changed too, for the first time. I don't regret changing mine, it was kind of an eyesore, and childish too. Plus it kind of held some unsettling memories.

Having people recognize you is kind of a challenge, but as long as your closest friends can get used to it , its cool. Although it is a little annoying when cool players you were friendly with before kind of ignore you because they don't make the connection xD
I think it was easier for me to change though, because I went on a long hiatus before I did. So I wasn't really integrated if you get what I mean.
