Welcome all to the Final Round of the Sylestia Grand Royale!
In this round designers had to create a pet, avatar, AND writing.
Contestants were tasked with creating two sets of pet/avi/writing designs based on Tarot Cards. They were tasked with explaining the card, creating a poem, as well as the designs to represent it.
Voter Rules
- Contestants may vote, but please dont vote for yourself.
- Voting is blind meaning all entries will be labeled with numbers, not names. When placing your votes please - be sure to clearly state the NUMBERS of the entries you are voting for.
- Each person may vote ONLY once.
- Adding feedback to your votes is helpful for the contestants, but please keep it constructive.

Now Voters, here is a special thing (too help increase votes), if you include a short paragraph FOR each contestant providing critique on their entries you will be entered into a raffle for 50k and 1 choice of project pet from me.

Entry One The Tower
The Tower card represents a sudden or impending change that leads to a revelation; this change can be spiritual, mental, or physical. While an unexpected change occurs it may feel confusing and perhaps painful, but by embracing these challenges, they ultimately lead to self-betterment and growth. Such changes are said to be inevitable, and there is no benefit to resisting them.
It is a crumbling spire
on unstable foundation,
thunder in the distance, a flash of lightning
undoing divinity, a phoenix wreathed in flames,
fire racing through veins, quick, scorching
and leaving a burnt out husk, empty and fragile
but inescapable, a fated renewal
and redefinition of the self, wholly necessary
to move forward, no matter how tenuously,
like a small bird
greeting the dawn.
The Knight of Cups:
The Knight of Cups card represents imagination, passionate emotion, and intuition. It says actions are driven by a wish to see dreams become reality, and are often a product of idealism and a gut-feeling, so to speak. While there may be plenty of ideas, it warns against impulsive decisions and instead encourages forethought and grounding those ideas in reality.
Bubbles rising from murky ocean depths
buoyant and dizzying, a precedent
for the winding, twisting creature
that longs to see the clouds and sun,
or stare at the cosmos and drink moonlight,
journey past the shoreline
over mountains, explore beyond the horizon,
but it does not realize
it cannot breathe above the surface.
The Seven of Swords:
The Seven of Swords card represents deceit, betrayal, and secrets. Whether or not the deception works is up to chance. Although encouraging strategic thinking and planning, it warns that not everyone will agree with pragmatic actions. Avoidance of problems in the form of procrastination and self-deception is advised against; instead, those issues are better faced sooner than later.
A double-edged sword
forged in lies
deceit, artifice, a sharp blade
and silver tongue, strengthened
through pretense and pretty words,
impassive and entirely hollow
with truth locked behind a grin
and swallowed down, consumed
and fueling intent, feverish, fierce
but reckless, chaotic, and wholly destructive
not unlike a wild beast
wanting to escape.

Entry Two The Hanged Man
While upright it means to Surrender, Let Go, or New Perspectives. While reversed it means Delays, Resistance, or Indecision. If you find yourself with an upright Hanged Man, it means that you find yourself with a continuous sign to let go and stop. Thake some time to reflect and evaluate your progress, what is preventing you from moving forward? Keep in mind these 'pauses' may not be what you expect them to be, in fact don't expect them at all. While reversed, it means that you know you need to stop and reflect on your work and perspective, but are resisting it. You need to stop and rest. Or it can mean that you are in a paused position and you can move forward. You have the energy to and the will to move on, and so just flow with life as it takes you. Don't force it.

Strength
While upright it means Strength, Courage, Passion and Influence. While Reversed it means Inner Strengths, Self-Doubt, and Raw Emotion. When you find yourself with the upright position, you are influenced by your personal power and determination. It means you have confidence in yourself to continue forward, even with fear and without motivation. In the reverse position, you can find yourself getting cocky and overflowing with self-confidence, or maybe you don't have enough. It's an invitation to take a step back and revise your energy levels, either take some away or take time to get confidence.
You are guided
By a voice
Not outside
Nor inner choice
She walks the path
Laid by flowers
No weapons in hand
No wings to fly
Meets a lion
Among the crowd
Walks forward
Ignoring the growls
She pushes on
Past her fears
And beast calm
Strides no further
Queen of Wands
While Upright it means Courage, Confidence, and Independence. While Reversed it means Self-Respect, Introversion, and Reestablishing a Sense of Self. If you find yourself with an Upright Queen of Wands, you may see that you are brimming with confidence and excitement. The Queen encourages you to make bold decisions, lead a busy life, express yourself to the fullest. Be social and explore, especially your shadowed side, or the darker side of yourself. Not necessarily a negative, but the Queen asks you to express yourself this way and forge a deeper connection with yourself and others. If you find yourself with a Queen of Wands reversed, it shows you have reached a place of self-confidence and respect. You know yourself on a deeper level, so much so that your opinions stand strong. You also may seem more introverted than usual, and that is perfectly okay. Don't push yourself to be something you are not. You may also find yourself with lack of confidence, and the Queen invites you to find that confidence and energy, reevaluate yourself.

defiantly 1, the designs and avs match much better w/ the cards then 2. allso the story part for 1 is way more thought out
