You cat is telling you to have more pets XD
(also I feel sorry for the wildlife in your area.....)
So. My mom crushed one of the local lizards in the door today. Yippee.
(Not a cat but still....WILDLIFE IN THE HOUSE)
This is why we can't have a cat. Other reason? Mountian lion and coyote.

Pfft. We have coyotes and foxes. I want to keep the bunnies, but my dearest mother's like Yeahhhh NO.

We had a bunch. Hen they kept multiplying so we got rid of them
We almost got crabs bt it was too much hassle
