In June, we announced our decision to shut down the logged-in Imgur mobile web experience due to low usage and challenges involved in maintaining a quality experience. As of August, this option is no longer available.

Uploading, commenting, voting, and all the magic of the internet is available on the desktop web version, as well as on the official Imgur apps.

Well what I do (I don't use Imgur) is I have two Google accounts, so I directly paste a photo into Google Hangouts and send it to the other account, and when it's done sending, I take the image address from there.
(If you don't wait for it to finish sending, the image address is a very long string of random characters that don't work.)
