hi! i have been wondering how to get essences without paying diamonds, so i can bring my generator pets to life! ( you know what i mean)

(You would need multiple essences and a breeding project to bring those to life. No one essence can give that many traits.)

You can buy with gold from other players off the Trade Broker. That's probably the easiest way, though ferri essences in particular will be hard to find and more expensive.

They also rarely drop from mission satchels, nurturing, fights with wild pets, etc. But that's pretty rare and not something to rely on.

Of those options, the easiest way would be to go on Advanced Search and target nurture one species in the hopes of getting an essence. But even then, it's like a 0.0177% chance of getting an essence from nurturing, if I've done the math right.

So, yeah, check broker. Bulb essences are relatively cheap. Puff essences might be a bit expensive for a newer player like you, but still doable if you save some. Ferri essences... good luck. ^.^;;

You might want to check the Guide to Generator Essences (Which includes a breakdown of ways essences can be obtained)
As Somneli said, you'd need a breeding project to make pets with that many traits, so you might also want to check out Xavion's 6-vis breeding guide

However, while you will be able to manage the bulbori with essences, the puffadore and ferrikki would get very tricky with just essences, since both those designs have Restricted traits (only one on the Puff, but four on the ferrikki)
the only way to get resricted traits into purely generator essence lines is using Restricted Disruptors of that trait set (and just one of those could break the bank, even before taking into account that you might have to try multiple times to get the trait you need) (See Guide to Restricted Traits post 2 which contains the breakdown of the usage restrictions of Trait Disruptors)

With them it would be far easier to breed the traits in from extant pets (like by using the Advanced Search to find pets up for breeding), rather than using the "disrupt offspring of generated pets" method, and dyeing the final result once you have all the traits.

for the ferrikki i would highly recomand using dye instead of essences as most of the traits are restricted, it will cost you less then buying essences and restricted traits mutators for the whole set . ^-^
