I tilt my head and continue watching her in silence, after noticing that I am upwind of all the humans, so I cant get their scents.

I turn around and run backwards.

Kathrin snores softly, most likely dreaming. She had no reason to resist sleeping. She did her chores early that morning, and she had picked up to requested items from the market.

Napping was actually her favorite pastime, she could relax and not worry about anything.

You slowly drifted off, you weren't thinking of anything in particular but your vision blurred as your eyes focused on the back of someone's hoodie. The mood in the room seemed to rise just before her mom set down a small ladle she had been using to stir goulash, "Dinner will be ready in about 5, I'm making Hungarian goulash." she said happily.

"O-okay." I said nervously. I wondered what it tasted like.
