So when going to regenerate a pet many have wonderful deigns, which is all well and good but when it comes to actually regenerating the pet it does take some time. Having to manually put in each color hex can be time taxxing.
My suggestion is on the load essence section,
Include a 'Link Pet' option, which would pull up an option box, similar to load design by url, which would allow you to link the pet and would load the pet as you would an essence, allowing you to transport color schemes directly onto the pet you want to regen.

When regenning pets, I like to take advantage of the generator's ability to store the 10 most recently used colors. There are 12 colors on a pet, so you can store the first 10, go through and apply them to the appropriate slots, and then input the hex codes for the remaining two colors.
It would be nice to be able to load in saved designs, though.

Yeah I do that as well, can still just be a long processes, especially when regenning loads of pets at once

Oh, really? "Manually put in each color hex" made me think you didn't. I just load up a design and hit "save" for every color, without having to put in the hex codes. Did I misunderstand what you meant?

For the normal generator, yes. But for some reason, "Load Design by URL" isn't an option in the re-generator.
