Hey AC, I'd like to be entered~ I don't watch tv, but for a book series I would suggest Dragonriders of Pern series if you haven't read them. I would also suggest the Mage Wars series, or Joust by Mercedes Lackey and its sequels. Finally, if you like something a little based on the historical, then try the Clan of the Cave Bear and its sequels. ^-^

Hmm some books to read: the duet of Eon and Eona is really good. Its based on the magic swordsmen who wield the power of the dragons of the Chinese Zodiac
I also recommend most things written by Tamora Pierce, her first series which I started with is The Song of the Lioness but my favorite two series that shes written would be the Becka Cooper Trilogy: Terrier,Mastiff,Bloodhound and the Daughter of the Lioness Due: Tricksters Choice and Tricksters Queen.
Another good one is the Red Rising Trilogy, with Golden Sun being my Favorite
As you can tell I really like talking about books XD but my last suggestion would be the Finishing School series by Gail Carriger which starts with the book Etiquette and Espionage
I didnt really add much description because I probably wouldnt do it justice but most of these books are fantasy with elements of swordplay and magic, hope you find something you like :3

Fantasy and magic are totally my thing. Swordplay depends, but usually I like it. :D I'm getting so many good recommendations, I should really do this more often XD

I've read Wings of Fire and it's AMAZING. I haven't finished the two latest books yet, though. :( Who are your favorite dragons?
I have heard about "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime", it sounded pretty interesting. The other two I haven't heard of, but I'll look into it :)
