I just wanted to take a moment to apologize for and address the recent lag, performance issues, and subsequent 522 and 524 Cloudflare Errors.

Fortunately, this post is positive. We've done a lot of things to improve performance across the board for the Site. Those of who you play when 100 or less are online should now notice a big increase in performance. The side effect to this is that now our server is using a lot more of its resources. When 150+ are online, our resources are pretty much capping out. This then causes long waits to connect to pages, apache backs up, and then the 522/524 errors pop up.

We're going to try and do some more improvements to how our database works to decrease the stress required to maintain the performance. I'm pretty sure how to address the issue and how to fix it. The result should be the high performance during low times plus very little visible stress during high times.


But I just wanted everyone to know that we are working on getting this cleaned up and will try to keep everything running as smoothly as possible until the entire process is finished. Thank you for your patience. =)

To look at it in another way....I guess the lag issues are a good thing for the site.........it means the online player base is going up up up! :)
