I don't know if this is an actual bug or just something weird? xD

I was going through my Stable Log (as I do periodically) and I found 2 consecutive entries saying that I had lacked the funds of 0 gold to feed my Sylestis. This had happened once before, but it was just once and then everything was back to normal so I figured it was just something weird that had happened and then was fixed or something and was nothing to worry about. But now that I see it had happened again, and even consecutively, I'm wondering if there's something still going on that I'm supposed to bring attention to.

Nothing ...bad?... seems to be occurring from it (that I have noticed, or correlated to this)... It just seems like there's something wrong with it. xD It seems like either the number should be something other than 0 if I actually lacked enough funds (which I try to always keep enough on hand to cover at least 1 day of feeding, which should fully cover any amounts of 0, and haven't "lost time" in a decent while now -or have I? D_D ) or shouldn't say that I lacked the funds to feed them if they just weren't hungry -which in itself should be either wrong or weird, right? (But would be explained if, say, Krinadon wrote a script that automatically fed Sylestis across the board to fix something ...weird... that may have happened... >_> <_< xD ) Or is it just scripts running around patching tears in Sylestia's continuum...? D_D Or does it mean something specific that I am just missing altogether? ._.

Any way, in case it is something that needs attention, here it is. ^_^

The dates of my 3 occurrences:

4/25/2019 at 12:00 AM You lacked the required funds of 0 to feed 3,431 Pets.
4/24/2019 at 12:00 AM You lacked the required funds of 0 to feed 3,427 Pets.
4/22/2019 at 12:00 AM You lacked the required funds of 0 to feed 3,422 Pets.


-After going over my Logs thoroughly yet again, there is definitely something weird going on. If my Sylestis had not been fed on the 0 gold days, then my Log would either then say that I spent x amount of gold to feed them or the next day Rosemary would have spent more than the regular amount to feed them. So my Sylestis either failed to get hungry or a feeding of them failed to be Logged... While I'm much more worried about things not getting Logged than Sylestis not getting hungry, isn't Sylestis not getting hungry ...weird? And therefore something I should mention... ^D^;

Yea I'm seeing those messages too over the past few days popping up.

I took a look at the script and adjusted it a bit.

Will check back in a few days and see what the results are.

Remind me in 3 days if I forget and there are more oddities. Most likely, you'd notice a blank entry for a day where nothing at all happened.

Ooh, could you tell by the code what was happening? ^o^ (Since you made adjustments, that implies you saw something suspicious. :3 )

Okay, I will try to keep check on it over the next few days and see if any oddities happen -that I can tell. :D I was probably going to be checking my Stable Log daily for the next several days anyway. ^D^ Thanks for telling me the example of what to look for too! ^_^

Mine also happened on the 27 and 28. But today its fine.

Huh, odd. I didn't notice the oddity since my pets never seemed to suffer from it, but looking at my log, I had the same thing happen on the 22nd, 24th, 25th, 27th and 28th (just reporting for more information's sake XP)

Had this is well, plus one day where 8g fed them all?

Ooh, I think I feel less crazy with it having happened to other people too. xD

Oh, looking back at it in my memory after looking at my logs for the 27th and 28th after reading other people's replies, I don't have Log entries for the 27th or the 28th because I was not under contract anymore. My Contract expired on the 26th and I almost always wait until my Sylestis are hungry to make a new Contract. I now remember feeling completely insane those 2 days as I stared a long time at not having a Stablehand and none of my pets being hungry. I also remember finally giving up staring at them and going to sleep because I figured it had to be just that I was really really very sleepy mixed with my eye troubles I've been having. XD

I fixed the issue of the Stablehands attempting to feed pets if it costs 0 Gold. So in place of those days happening, just nothing will happen.

If I had to guess at this point, the Database query to deduct a point of Hunger from all pets is taking too long and it's starting to feed people's pets before they've lost the hunger point.

If so, that'd be a relatively easy fix as I can just splice the two into separate functions and give like 5-15 min or something inbetween them.


What I wanted to test was if I'd have all my pets be hungry and nothing in the log for that day. That'd tell me exactly what I said above is indeed happening. So that's what I'm looking for atm.
