Turning you begin to wander down the path to your right. After walking for a few hundred metres you notice that the walls are scattered with small orange and blue crystals. After a bit more time the crystals became organised and began to look almost like a hallway. A distant humming echos down the hallway.

I slowly move my hand towards the bigger one, holding my breath. Hopefully they won't run away, like the other.
She shook her head shortly and leaned down on her staff.
"Hmm, I guess that might be one of the reasons. Sometimes they just like to come out here and bug us until they get board again. Anyway, I should leave you to your exploring if you need me find Xavier and he'll get me!"
And with that extremally short interaction she disappeared completely.

I don't think I know a Xavier, but ok... Well, I guess I'll try find my Sylesti?

As your hand got closer it jolted down and froze in place glaring at you. After a long few seconds, it quickly calmed down and dived up towards your arm. It landed gracefully on your arm and curled one of its tail around your wrist. The bright green crystal-like ball floated in the air just above its head while it stared up at you.

I shoot one of my arrows down the path, and light my torch/flashlight, and then I cautiously advance.

I gently pet them, admiring their big yellow-green eyes. I look over at the other one, maybe they'll come out now.
Both of your companions were still standing in the middle of the open field. Meteorite was standing tall, head cocked slightly to one side as he stared at you. Aurorus was sitting perched on top of Meteorite's head, or maybe he was standing, you really couldn't tell beneath all of that fluff. They both just kind of stared at you blankly.
