I tell the aquatic creature to see to it that she doesnt do anything funny, and set off to see what I can find.

I stay still, like a statue, staring at them curiously, admiring their black and green coats. Perhaps if I stay still long enough, they'll go for the food.
The tiny creature nods and sits down right in front of her, presumably to make sure that she doesn't go anywhere. Giving her one last look you turn and walk back into the cave. Nothing much to note happens until you come to the first intersection that goes both right and forward.
What should you do?

Daniella flicks her hand in a dismissive sort of gesture. The two people standing close to Devon back up a bit they almost look to be cowering behind him. Daniella's expression hardens for a second as she begins to talk to Devon.
"Devon take your responsibilities elsewhere, I don't want the luring the Gods out here again. It's a pain to deal with those four."
Devon nods slowly, and in a flash of blinding yellow light Devon, the two strangers and Jaylyn are gone.
You stay completely still and within a few seconds both the tiny creatures bound out and poke at the food a few times. They don't seem to even care that you're there at this point.
What should you do?

I smile as they nibble at the food. After a while of watching them eat, I lift my hand up towards them. Maybe they'll sniff my hand, or let me get close enough to pet 'em.

The smaller of the two noticed your movements first and jolted backwards in the small cave. The second one was a bit slower to notice your advances. It turned its head quickly and stared up at you with its big yellowish-green eyes. The smaller one hissed from the hole in the cliff, but the larger one stayed where it was staring at you.
