You head down Siyte St, shivering slightly. You wish you had gotten a cloak from your house. However, it's to late to turn back. There's a temple to the Inkspinner to the left, and the silhouette of a sylesti to the right. The sylesti seems pretty fast, and you can barely see it now. The temple, on the other hand, might have some information on Hanna's disappearance. And ahead of you, there seems to be a cracking eggling. You don't want to waste time. The sylesti draws farther away, and the eggling seems close to death.

try to help the eggling

You have found an eggling! You can keep it, or leave it where it is, now healthy enough to survive. This eggling is free. I don't charge for egglings used here that belonged to me. If you keep it, it will continue to be in your story.
After helping the eggling, you can chase after the sylesti or go to the temple.

You stumble through the streets in pursuit of the sylesti. You think you have lost it, but then it steps out of an alley, a sad, pretty lupora, her fur matted and muddy. She tries to dart away, but Ladybug blocks her. She whimpers slightly.

slowly advance and pet her

She calms down a bit, but she's very skinny, obviously underfed. There's a shop nearby that is selling some food, and you think food might help her trust you. The food seems pretty cheap. You can buy food (10g per treat) that can be used in attempt to win her trust. You might not get a chance to get treats for a while. One treat is guaranteed to catch a sylesti that doesn't trust you. You can buy as many treats as you want, and you will keep them until you use them.
