It took him a minute to answer but he said "uh I just started two days ago actually, that was all introduction today's the first real day of work" a hint of excitement entered his voice

he stiffened and he narrowed his eyes when he looked back at you but he didn't reply and kept walking. You soon reached the dining hall he opened the door for you and motioned for you to enter first.

Many of the benches were already occupied but the farthest corner from the door was almost always empty and today was no exception, the lunch line was moving quickly and there seemed to be some variety or more so than usual for today.

(ah I'm glad you like it! heh I agree it's not normally seen as a good thing eh?)
