Allu slithered up the leaves and onto the dragon's back behind Orchenia.

Mel sighed. "I suppose there's no way of knowing if he's alive or not. But. He must be alive. I can't accept he's dead!" Her voice shook a bit at the end.

Reflected!Frisk conjured up cups of orange juice and offered one to Xanthus and Harligh. "Orange juice?"

"He destroyed your world, but you still care about him. Who was he exactly for you? A boyfriend, a lover?" Florie asked softly, wondering.
If he had been a simple acquaintance, Melody would probably hate him and want him dead, and since she implied that she knew her other friend first, the one she simply called her, he probably was not someone from her family.

Mel gritted her teeth. "He's. Not. Any. Significant. Other." She spoke slowly, and with a low tone, punctuating each word. "Again, there are things I regret."

She patted Nyx who kept her wings wide to make sure even if anyone slipped you would fall on her wings. Orchenia smiled and looked at Allu.

Kaea looked up slowly eyeing Mel. She realized that Mel had more layers than she let on at first sight. She moved the glass until it stacked like a mirror and she eyed it thinking.

"I did not mean to offend you, I am sorry. I was only trying to understand." Florie apologized genuinely.

She had seen many stupid things and some terrible mistakes done in the name of love. Hearing of one more would not have surprised her. The severe tone of Melody made her wonder whether she had not been the first to ask this question to the girl, or if she was shocked that someone could suggest that the one who had destroyed her world had been her significant other. She had the feeling that the events the girl describe were still fresh in her mind.
