Whaaaa? No downtime? A species revamp takes hours to implement and this won't even take the game off for a bit? O: what is this magic! I was expecting the site to go down for a whole day waiting for this update, what strategy are you using to avoid that? XD

I agree with Watercolors. We have years to play about in the Lost Grove, but this is the only 2018 Week Of Love there will ever be. I was afraid it would simply be erased--nice to be wrong.

BTW, how much longer must we keep calling the new species "the new species"?

If you haven't settled on a name yet, may I humbly suggest "Tentachi"? We don't have a species whose name begins with T. (I had been going to suggest "Vulpeting," but it's too similar to Vulnyx.)

Species revamps require downtime because I have to update things already created to match the changes.

Nobody has any of the new pets, items, or access to the new area. So I can freely work on it all while everything is operational with no complications.

Once it's all ready, I basically just flip a switch to remove whatever blocks you guys from accessing said things and then you can access them. =)

It does indeed have a name. We will announce it w/ the official species announcement post probably sometime next week.

Yes. You must have completed Astryl's Tranquility for The Lost Grove to become accessible.

Personally I'd rather things be delayed than rushed, especially considering the tremendous amount of work you guys have put in! (Also the new release date is my birthday, which I find both funny and awesome haha!)
