"Whatever,not like i'll use it TOO much" she grinned at Alex

Alex gave you a side glance and a goofy grin.

"Ya, you can totally trust us not to use them to much.". Alex rolled his eyes and glanced in your direction giving you a crooked smile.

"Ok, knock it off you two." Smith said smiling to now "we are trusting you to only use those spells in case of emergency."he said picking up a custard from from a small table a few feet away.

I stare at the custard.."Really now?"

"I realize how that sounds us telling you not to use spells to kill. That's not the point of magic. It is meant to be helpful, if you are to kill someone we would prefer a weapon other than magic. Of course you can use it as defense though." he stopped to bite into the custard "I only want you to use magic against someone if they use it against you." he said.

" Between us only two districts know magic yours is one of them. That's why this is a rule." Effie said looking at you and Alex straight in the eye "Do you understand?" she said for once with a straight face.

"EFFIE!!!!! They aren't supposed to know that!" he cried exasperated.

"I'm not gonna use that much..."

All of a sudden the carriage can to a halt. Effie and Smith sat their like nothing happened, while you and Alex nearly went flying off the seat.

"Ooohh, were here. Finally." Effie got up and smiled "Well come along children were in the capital now. We're only going to have so much time to train you considering we have to get costumes fitted for you to."
Smith got up and followed close behind her glancing back a couple times to make sure you were following. You and Alex hesitantly got up and followed.

I walk out into the capital..."Yeesh it's bright here"

Alex shielded his eyes, Effie walked on like this was normal, Smith slightly flinched, and you turned your head away from the sun.

"Is it always so bright?" Alex asked them.

"Sometimes. Why? Can you not handle it? said Smith smiling.

"Come on children," Effie said looking right at Smith " we better get inside. We still need to show you your rooms." she turned and continued walking.

"Ya before we go blind.." I follow effie's brightly colored bob of hair

Effie smiled at you and walked in.

"Alright serenity I'll show you your room and Smith you show Alex to his." Effie said.

"Alright come on Alex. " Smith said and began walking away as Effie led you in the opposite direction.

You walked into a beautiful white room, with peach curtains and a balcony with a lovely view of the capitol. The bed looked do tempting the minute you saw it.
