I have been keeping up on this for a while. One thing new that had been stated only a few days ago is that they WILL NOT be voting today and when they do vote we will get a warning three weeks prior to them actually voting.

((I'm a little conspiracy theory junkie so i've spent quite a while researching this))

From what I have heard on this topic, they will be voting on December 14th, and it is unfortunately expected to pass. That being so, if it does pass, many people would likely not be able to go on websites as such as this one without paying, depending on what provider of internet they'd have.
Don't go on my word though, I might be missing some important information.

That is the general. I think I said in my previous post we would get a warning 3 weeks prior? If this law passes the internet will be changed. If we are lucky browsers such as Tor might be able to bypass those restrictions.

Is the general populace, tech companies, or politicians voting? It isn't clear.

I believe it is politicians (Don't quote me on that). Most populace are against this law, so the statistic that it is likely to be passed is likely because of our incredibly money driven government

I'm wondering though because the thing about politicians is that they need to be voted in, and if most people are against this it could hurt their popularity. Plus, I don't see any personal gain for them, only tech companies. I've tried to research this but I haven't found anything. You're probably right though.
