Hi guys, I'm sure you see these all day, but I'm new to the site, just started a couple days ago, and I just wanted to say hi.

I've been playing the game like crazy since I started and I think it's pretty great.

If anyone has any tips or anything on making gold, I'd love to hear from you. Everything I make pretty much seems to go into elixers and healing/reviving my pets and I can't seem to make enough to do much more than just power through the story. I feel like I'm doing something wrong. lol.

No problem, I clear my stables occasionaly, so check to see whats up, but at the moment they are pretty mixed up XP

I would advise doing missions. The ones you start with at Esior's Haven might not be that much but later on you unlock missions in Saerielle that give a lot more gold.

How I go about missions is to set up a pet for a specific type of mission. For example, if it's a mission that requires strength, the pet that does the mission is high in strength. This can be done with gear, proficiencies, and the starting stats of the pet. The higher the stat is for the mission, the more likely it is to be completed. I also name pets in a way that I can easily remember what type of mission they do like Strong Audra.

It can be a bit rough starting out. Your pets quickly outgrow gear at this stage. There's lots of guides that can provide useful information here in these forums. I can look at your team though if you'd like to see if I can offer advice.

I mostly make gold by doing missions, tasks (region 3's replacement for missions), doing the dungeons, battling in general. From the dungeons, I sell armor that's legendary or mythic. I vendor the rest. Experience orbs can also sell though these might be too useful to you currently.

When fests/events come around, there's avatar items that drop from bosses. I often sell extras of these as well. The next festival coming up will be the Summer Festival. You could also sell themed pets that are also encountered in it if you don't wish to keep them.

Np! And it just takes time. I've been playing for a very long time but I remember it being a bit rough at first. When you get to higher levels it gets much easier to farm gold.

Lol, it seems that way at first, but once you get used to the game it's quite easy. I've found that a quick way to get gold is through the missions at the Town Barracks, especially if you have mission pets (pets withh all points in one trait, strength, health, dex, etcetera).
