Kacita kept a pokerface as the meeting continued. "So, does anyone here actually know the profits of the dance? Or do we need to have a talk with Tony about slacking on his duties again" Kacita sighed. This wouldn't be the first time Tony didn't do his job because he wouldn't stop meddling or making false accusations.

"I'll talk to him!" Diana yelped, then covered her mouth. She removed her hands slowly, then cleared her throat. "Outside, Rosalini- now. We need to talk."

His eyes flickered up to hers and she refrained from showing him a rude gesture with one of her fingers. But he got up and walked to the door, opening it and nodding at her.

She narrowed her eyes, pushed him through the door and then followed.

The meeting continued, Kacita silently hoping Diana would return soon, with the information they needed. Eventually, the meeting came to an end. "Thank you for joining us everyone, I'll see you next meeting" Kafirs dismissed everyone.

Diana appeared in second period a bit later, slightly breathless. "The evil idiot actually asked me if I wanted to go out. I had to say yes- only for the pancakes, Kaci- and I acted like I 'forgived' him for hanging out with Olivia Miller at the dance. My only motivation was saving the world and getting those chocolate chip pancakes."

She shuddered, but continued. "We'll meet tonight at the river. Surprisingly, he said yes to that spot."

"I know you're upset, but, it's forgave, not forgived" Kacita corrected her with a slight laugh. "And do t forget your other motivation for going out with him" Kacita nudged her, reminding her of their powers.

"Alright, forgave, whatever, Ms. Straight A+s!" Diana teased. "And of course I'm upset!"

Kacita just stuck her tongue out. "It'll all be alright, once we destroy the element of chaos, we can go back to living our normal lives, well, and we still get he super awesome powers... maybe" Kaci reassured her.
