The seatbelt sign flickered on.

Piper and Laurel did their seatbelts. Piper was still smiling, and if possible, her smile widened. "Oh, I just love takeoff!"

(Woo, moving quickly)

Sylver did her seatbelt. A few students were seen trading tickets to get different seats and the last few people hurried on. Sylver's leg twitches, partially from fear, partially from excitement. She wondered if her brother, who was too young to go to this special school, would be a tzala like herself or a water mage like their father.

Piper turned to Sylver, Laurel, Erin, and Rick. "I can't wait the learn all the light magic stuff. Um, I know this might be lot to ask, but if you guys don't have separate groups, could we, y'know, hang out together at school? I mean, there's breaks, and the weekends are free days, and we could spend time together during lunch." Her face reddened. "I don't really know many people here, you see."

Laurel was surprised, as Piper seemed very, very, very outgoing. She whispered, "Sure. I don't know anybody else either. What about you guys? I know Sylver has Rhys and her cousin."

"We'll all be the best chums in the Academy!" Erin exclaimed as she put on her seat belt. It'll be nice to have friends who aren't Blood or Irish.
"How 'bout we tell each other stories to pass the time? One per person an' I'll be last," she asked everyone.

(Geez, this is moving fast ha ha. Btw guys, I'm not getting pinged every time even though I'm on the list, could you guys check that you have me on the list of people to ping? Because I can't keep track otherwise.)

When the seatbelt light flickered on, I leant back in my chair, my seatbelt already plugged in. Finally, I was wondering when we were going to leave.

At Piper's question, I sat back up straighter again. "Sure, I don't really know anyone else myself." I gave her a slight smile, nervously adjusting my glasses on my face. In truth, I doubted I would spend much time outside of the library - studying alone was often what I preferred to do during any time I had. But perhaps this would be an opportunity for me to at least know some people so that I had some friendly faces to turn to.

"-.-- . .- ..../ .. --/ -.. --- .-- -./" Sylver nodded. ".. --/ ... ---/ . -..- -.-. .. - . -../ - ---/ .-.. . .- .-. -./ -- .- --. .. -.-." Sylver clicked excitedly.

"So that's that," Piper said, relieved, giggling at Erin's statement. "And sure, stories seem good. I don't know any though. We're gonna fall asleep before we reach the island, I hear. Apparently the flight's around a day long."

A crackly voice interrupted. "Hello, students of Magia Academy. This is your pilot speaking. Remember that during this flight, no using offensive or harmful spells. Our flight attendants will be coming through soon to hand you all your meals. They're all very skilled Adimen mages, but still do not try to disrupt their concentration. Takeoff will occur shortly."

"-.-. --- --- .-..!" Sylver clicked excitedly. A seat suddenly went all the way back, the person sitting their looking up at her. "Hey Sylv, I traded seats with someone who wanted an aisle seat" He told her. The two started talking as is Sylver was speaking with her normal voice with normal words.

[cool!]

Laurel's eyes widened. "Adimen? Like me?"

Once the echo of the announcement fizzled out, placed my hands behind my head and lay back in my chair with a sigh. At this rate, I was bound to fall asleep before they'd even begun handing out the food. I allowed my eyes to flicker shut for a moment, inhaling slowly as I began to the fuzziness of sleep enveloping my body.

I should stay awake. My eyes opened once more, and I found my gaze on Piper and Erin. The two had mentioned sharing stories, and although I had nothing to contribute myself, I thought it would be interesting if I was to listen in. I should learn a little more about the others. But I don't want to come off as creepy... no matter, I will be fine.
