Morningkit followed closely behind and hid behind the bush, straining her neck to hear what they were saying.

Leafkti did the same. He heard Lemonstar interrogating Podsy. Leafkit was trying hard to hear them.

"Did you act alone?" lemonstar said Morningkit didnt want leafkit to get in trouble so she replied "Yes I was curious about the kittypet and wanted to find out why they came here" "Well then...." Her mom said "You are not allowed to go outside the camp until you start training not even if the others go" "What!" Morningkit cried walking back to the nursery sadly.

Lemonstar walked back to interrogating Podsy, and Jaystom walked back to the nursery, very tired, still shaking her head. She started looking around. "Leafkit?" she called. *He was with me in the nursery before,* she thought.

Leafkit looked at Morningkit sadly, thanking her for covering for him, but feeling guilty that he wasn't punished. Suddenly, he heard his mother's voice, calling his name. He slowly sneaked around the camp, padding up to his mother.

"There you are!" Jaystorm looked at Leafkit suspiciously. *He might have been with Morningkit, but I'm too tired to think about that right now,* she thought, ushering Leafkit into the nursery and quickly falling asleep again. Flarekit and Bumblekit seemed undisturbed, their chests rising and falling.

Leafkit headed inside the nursery. Laying down, he said, "Thank you, Morningkit. You didn't have to do that. I feel bad that you got blamed and I didn't. I should tell Mom, then we can play together in the nursery." He smiled. Tired, he started falling asleep.

Morningkit pretended to be asleep but when she heard everyone in the nursery breathing slowly she opened her eyes walked out of the nursery, sat down and looked up at the stars. Since her short time at the rouge camp she grew fond of them and knew they had helped lead the way home, and through harsh times. She soon grew tired and fell asleep outside forgeting to go back to her mother.

Lemonstar's tail lashed, "Where do you come from, kittypet? I will escort you home." she tried her best to keep her voice calm, but it ended up a little raspy.
