Snailshell purred gently "You should get your leg checked out" she dropped the plump rabbit on the fresh kill pile and stretched her fur, her ribs still showing through her skinny fur.

Larkstar sniffed the air Azurekit probably wasn't in nursery as she had checked every corner and it wouldn't have been suprising if she had missed him. She got up and padded out of the nursery "Azurekit!" She meowed in relief, "You should be back in the nursery!" The fluffy black and white she-cat picked Azurekit up by the skruff and carried him back to the nursery.

Azurekit wriggled and managed to escape, fluffing up his azure fur "I don't want to sleep"

*Mudstripe*

"Maybe" I sigh, licking my front right shoulder, which has a gash in it and is bleeding. "Who knew rabbits could kick like that, lucky for the prey pile I was more desperate than it was" I chuckle. "But I don't think I need to get it checked out, it's just a scratch" I assure her, blushing slightly. I put my scrawny catch in the pile and shake my fur, trying unsuccessfully to get it to fluff out and hide my ribs, which show sharply.

Snailshell looked at his gash and took a cobweb that was floating around near the fresh kill pile, pressing it on the gash {I read that all cats know basic knowledge of poppy seeds and cobwebs} and grooming his messy fur "Stonestar has to do something still.."

*Mudstripe*

"If something doesn't happen to fix this mess soon we will all starve to death. Nothing against our leader of course but we can't continue to live like this. I can't remember the last time I have eaten well. These days I am lucky to get a tiny bite of something scrawny and pitiful" I pause to take a breath. "Sorry, just blowing off steam" I grin sheepishly.

"You'll never be a good warrior like that!" Larkstar scolded in a playful way.

Snailshell nodded "At least everyone can get a bite of food today.." she paused for a second "Maybe we should ask for help at the gathering.." it was just a murmur at the end then she shook her head "No, we can't let the other clans think we're weak.." she gave his eat a quick lick before looking at the warriors den.

Azurekit tilted his head and looked up at her, blinking "Why?" mucus still streamed from his nose and he sniffed it back up. He didn't need to visit the medicine cat. He puffed his azure blue fur out cheekily.

"Even warriors get there rest!" She meowed, "Even a bird knows that!"
