Bleed Heart Aurleon


After seeing the bleeding hearts blooming in my mother-in-law's garden, I realized how quickly Spring appeared. I am honored to be able to remember upon seeing my in-law's bleeding heart that my mother has a matching one in her own garden, and that they are both of their favorite perennial. This Bleeding Heart Aurleon is the tribute to both my moms, inspiration taken directly from THIS photo. <3

My entry:

We grow Strawberries which will be blooming berry soon, so we can make jam to sell! I based the mane off of the colour of the different stages (Almost ripe and just ripe.) I also have lot's of dressage competitions coming up so I chose Qitari, and the butterflies because his paddock is full of them in the spring! ^^

My Inspiration was the blue morpho butterfly because butterflies fly in sping and i love butterflies that is why I decide my inspiration should be a butterfly

The inspiration for this design came from the fact that rivers are sometimes called springs. I used bright colours to reflect the growth of spring, and highlights of white like rapids on a fast flowing spring.

At first I didn't think I had an inspiration, it was just so pretty, but then I realized why it was beautiful.

It's that frustrating day when you feel like everything is going wrong, and you run out into nature's open arms. It wraps you in its beauty, soothing you with it's gentle colors and designs. It always makes me feel better. It makes me want to burst forth in song. The river ripples against the stones, and the flowers drift gently. The breeze blowing around you... It never fails to cheer up those who just listen.

This reminds me the most beautiful thing, is something we cannot and should not try to control.
