I noticed when playing around with aurleons in the generator that their wing mutation 'Snowdrift Wings' acts more like a glove than a different type of wing. By this I mean that they completely cover up any genes that happen to be on the wings.
Examples:


It isn't the only mutation to do this though, even on just aurleon wings as there is the same problem with peacock wings.
This issue makes it hard to create designs with the concerned traits and I think this needs to be fixed

Of the three wing-changing mutations (snowdrift, peacock, tempest), only tempest doesn't do this

Base + Magpie and Galaxy sprite:

(I think it'd be great if this was fixed as suggested, though, because the current result's kind of jarring and weird. Also on Dragon Wisp Tail on the nixis (only shows Dragon Wisp) and stuff. Also hopefully the Ladybug and Mantis wings on the lunes when their revamp's released. There are probably others where this kind of thing happens, but these are the ones that strike us immediately)

oh, thanks for pointing that out! I did test the tempest wings and I guess I must have skipped over peacock wings

have either of you seen that is problem is not just with Aurleon? there are other pets with this problem as well

Nephini has it with Ethereal and Lich Wings (while Griffi's Astral and Manticor Wings are simeler but do show the trait on the wings)

Qitari have this with a few main traits, where Luxurious Locks,Icicle Mane,Braided Mane and Feathered Mane show the main gene. Fire Mane, Nebula Mane and Storm Mane don't show it (althow Fire Mane and Nebula Mane do show rainbow for some very straing reson)

and Lunemare have it with some of there wing mutation as well. althow they get revamp now so that may chance (i hope :P )

I did notice that, but the aurleon wings just stood out to me.
(it may have stood out to me be because I have 6 aurleon essence ready to do a project with)
