my pets keep losing to him and im not sure how to beat him. i tried Lv 17s and LV24s and they all lose badly. i maybe get him down to 97% health before all my pets are dead.any helpful tips would be awesome!

You might want to change your pet's proficiency. Fire is not the most useful for this battle. You might want your pets to have healing abilities, since you can't use elixirs in arena battles.

Also, get the best equipment you can, and level your pets up to level 25. Be careful not to go over, or you can't use the pets for that arena bracket. Use a philter of unlearning once you hit level 25.


Arena battles are all about strategy as well. You need to read the battle log, and figure the patterns in order to defeat the arena bosses. For Fire Eyes, there is a move you have to block, if not it'll deal a huge blow to your pet/s. So you need to make sure you have enough mana in order to block that move.

Then put on legendary (or at least epic if you really can't find it) lvl 25 assassin or illusionist gear (depending on whether it is a strength or intelligence pet). Finally, I had real trouble when I first tried the arena with pets with base stats under 40! I didn't beat the arena until I changed my pets. :P For example, White Gold has really low agility. It's not a hard rule, but if you still struggle after a while, you might try find some pets with "over 40" base stats (like Mufooosa).

Most of it is still useful, except the element and proficiency system, which has completely changed since it was written. You might still try health based shadow pets. Others have had success with light based pets, or with combinations. People are still experimenting, and most of the people who have written about it on the forums are using max stat pets (base abilities of 100!), so the strategies will be different. Anyway, good luck with the Arena! :D

Once you succeed, you can get some *really* good gear, or you can get some tamed Ny'Venes! :)
