Hey everyone. As some of you know I've been without a laptop for quite some time now and I'm hoping that next month I can fix this problem. To save money I started looking at tablets with an attached keyboard like this one...

What I'm wondering is if anyone has had experience playing Sylestia on a similar machine and whether the hot keys work for exploring and battling. Also curious how well the track pad works. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

sins a few weeks now i have a tabled althow mine is without keyboard so i fear i won't be much help.
but on mine playing sylestia goes well enough^^ ofcours it's not as fast as my laptop (althow my laptop sometimes is much slower then my tabled.... but as long as my laptop works ok and my internet is ok it's faster) but i find playing on my tabled easy (i have a Samsung Galaxy tab A 10.1 from 2016)

As a matter of fact, I play sylestia almost exclusively on my iPad using a Bluetooth keyboard.

The experience is almost identical to playing on a laptop with only a few differences.

One is that some icons need to be tapped twice, and on the map you need to hold down your finger for a second longer than just a normal tap.(this may only be on Apple devices)

The other thing that may cause a little trouble is that in the generator the text for all traits shows in black, even restricted traits which on a computer show up in red as you probably already know.

The battling hotkeys work just fine as well.

Oh thank you, that is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Looks like I'll be free from playing Sylestia on my phone next month! :)

My tablet is not one with keybord, but I can still tell you my experiences playing with it.

For exploring and battling, it works well enough.

On my tablet I can't really use the generator and the wardrobe though (I can't change colors).
Also you should be careful if your tablet is sensitive like mine when your in your inventory, to avoid selling and losing items accidentally (I once sold all my lovely mutators for nothing, and I'm not even sure of how it happened. I'm very thankful to Krinadon who gave them back to me!!!).
So I rather play with any machine with a mouse (I don't know if you can use one whith the type of tablet you want?)

All of those issues can be easily explained.

One is that you need to be careful with where you tap on a smaller screen, combined with a little lag misclicks can cause big problems. Just wait for a page to be completely finished loading before you tap.

As for being unable to change colours in the wardrobe and generator that could easily be an issue with your browser. I recommend using Google chrome even on Apple devices. If you have any issues at all with either the generator or wardrobe, try clearing your cache and cookies and trying again that should fix any problems.

After any sort of maintenance to the site you should probably clear your cache just in case.

This is all from experience playing on both an android phone and an iPad so hopefully this covers everything.

Yes, I know a lot was probably due to lag and misclicks, and I'm way more careful now when I'm using my tablet and I want to do something in my inventory!

But for the color problem, I don't know where it comes from. I use google chrome (I don't have an Apple device, it's an android tab) and clear my cache quite regularly?!. Sometimes it works, but most of the times it doesn't. But even when the generator or the wardrobe work, they work slower that they do on my computer, so I prefer to use my computer for that anywhay. But thanks for the tip, next time i'm trying to use the generator or wardrobe on my tab and it doesn't work, I'll clear the cache and the cookies to see if it works.
