OML... but they grow in large patches and I always step in them and get a bunch of thorns stuck in the bottom of my feet and it hurts.... ;-;)

Easter Fox Zolnixi (or Spring Zolnixi, Easter Zolnixi, Egg Decorator Zolnixi, etc.)--

No, I didn't make up the idea of the Easter Fox. My ancestors came from England, Scotland, North America, Ireland, and Germany, so I like learning about people who originated in those places. The Easter Fox was (and is) the bringer of Easter treats in parts of Germany. According to an article that I can't now locate, some cultural anthropologists think the association of foxes with decorated eggs came from the tradition of decorating boiled eggs with onion skins creating colors that remind one of a fox's coat--




Emerald City Faelora--Could be in Oz, could be in the State Of Washington, but regardless, in their city Spring is green! (Note: I live in the Puget Sound area. It's really green.)




Daylight-Saving Qitari--These Qitaries don't set their clocks forward. They're just wide-awake in the spring dawn so as to enjoy every moment of sunshine!

Blackberry Winter Puffadore--The phrase "blackberry winter" refers to a spring cold snap that occurs when the blackberries are blooming. The phrases "dogwood winter," "blackthorn winter," and "redbud winter" refer to the same thing, just with different plants in bloom depending upon where one is.
