So, in this, say this pet

https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2502237

who has fallow deer and its covering up her other visible.

So, I have this

Philter Of Trait Resetting

I use it and choose whole new traits will all the things.

Like, say, after a revamp but without new colors. Would that be nice??? I think so!

Then she could be this

it could be a high price, though.

Although I'd love to be able to reset and choose traits on so many of my sylesti, it would also be kind of game breaking and would defeat the purpose of breeding. I can't think of a way to implement something like this without making them very rare and expensive.

While something like this would be very cool I agree with Fresh that it would be game-breaking with regards to breeding. I enjoy the challenge of breeding projects and breeding in the traits I want.
However, I would like to see something that allowed you to change one specific trait of your choice. Like when you get that wonderful exclusive pet and it has one trait you love and one....that you don't. Then you could just disrupt that one particular undesirable trait while keeping the trait you want.

What if this could only be used on infertile pets?

Yes Fresh, I agree with you.

But what if there was a philter of wild trait disruptor? Only for normal non themed wild pets. I think that would be better. Players can mix up the pet traits like the themed disruptor. It will also switch carried traits around.

Or, you could just make it so expensive. Anyways, only one defeats the purpose. It would allow you to re allocate the disliked traits

To do what you want Zaynah, I think you can use a filter of nullification, then a greater genetic mutator. It would be expensive though.

I think that is a pretty good idea. I mean, pets that are infertile are so permanently. I could see this as helping to get rid of the "game-breaking" aspect. Perhaps also, it can only be used once on each pet. And perhaps only Offspring and wild pets, not Themed / Exclusive.

So yeah, I think this could work! Good idea there ^-^
