Fish smiled. "But mom says it's rude to do that....." Fish said. Ice went back into the den.

Horsetail gathered the plants up. He soon got enough and gave some for that cat whose name he didn't care to remember. They were a bit to happy.

Rock took two bundles of Catmint back to the camp, one in his jaws and one tucked under his neck.

Horsetail could carry a bit more than Rock even though his mouth watered from doing so. He entered camp with the catmint.

"Ah, Horsetail! I see you found the Catmint!" Light said, padding over to the two. "Well done, you too."

Horsetail nodded and headed to his den. He set down the catmint. "Set it down here." Horsetail ordered.

Fish played alone. She wished her brother was still alive. They barely knew him and Fish missed him. She sighed and sat down.

Rock set the Catmint down beside Horsetail's pile and walked over to Fish.
"Hello," he said. "Why are you sad? I can sense loneliness prickling off your fur like the smoke from a forest fire."

"Why do I have to be the only kit....." Fish said. "Why couldn't my brother have lived?" Fish looked at Rock with sad eyes. She looked down at her paws.

"I don't think I should tell you this, but Dawn, Light's mate is expecting kits." Rock whispered.

Fish was surprised but she smiled. "I won't tell anyone!" Fish said bouncing up and down. "But will you play moss ball with me?" She looked happily at Rock.

"Indeed I will." he said, throwing a moss ball across the clearing.
