"W-what? i-its real?!" Coastal could feel her heart breaking, family is all she knew, since her mother tended to not let them interact with other dragons. "S-she um, just a while ago, when I saw her after waking up, I'll take you to her, I don't think she actually has the flashing, but just to make sure." In her mind, Coastal already knew the truth, she didn't believe it, but she had to get her little brother and sister out of there, if this was true, they have a good chance of getting infected.

"Yes. We need to leave, now. If there's anything-" Darkness cut herself off and spread her wings. "Rhythm, can you follow us on the ground?"

"Forget that, I'll just carry her, now hurry, I need to make sure my family is safe!" A thought came to her head for a brief second, but she shook it out a moment later, she knew she couldn't use her animus powers for this, she could fix it herself

"All right. Ready?" Without waiting for an answer, Darkness swept into the air and tossed her gaze around.

"I can keep up with you two just fine by running, let's hurry!!"
Rhythm then put on a burst of energy and was able to follow the others to Coastal's mother.

Coastal's siblings were still asleep when they arrived, but Yucca, her mother, her scales were even paler than before. Coastal dragged her siblings even further away. "So... how is she?" Yucca seemed to be having a pained sleep

Rhythm exchanged a look with Darkness.
"It would probably be best if we get her to the nearest village that has medicine, they may not be able to stop it, but they may be able to prolong the amount of time that your mother has."

After seeing that this made Coastal worried, she whispered this softly to the Sandwing.
"Try not to worry, while it may be few in number, there have been cases when dragons had survived and lived to tell the tale. It is a very good thing that your mother was caught showing symptoms early and that other dragons were here, Coastal."

"O-oh, okay then" Coastal said, holding back tears. She gently shook her mother awake "Mother, you're very ill, we must got you to a doctor" Coastal told her. She just nodded, knowing what was happening. Coastal helped her mother up, starting to head to the next town.

Now knowing that the Sandwing's mother was going to get treatment, Rhythm let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the ground.

the young seawing got bored of waiting for a reply. Spotting an exit, she slipped out of the cage, and flew to freedom, over the water.
