Ainsleigh & Tatsu

Ainsleigh was beginning to feel some jealousy towards this Ny'vene getting flirty with her mate. She grabbed Tatsu hand in her own and began walking him down the hall. "We have our own business to attend to Tat." She told him but looking at Crow, denoting this male was her territory and not something her Ny'vene rival should be taking interest in. Granted Ny'vene males were pretty hideous to look at. "Come along Nina." She added for her to follow them. "Twas a pleasure milady." Tatsu bid Crow in a farewell while Ainsleigh dragged him into their room.

Ainsleigh closed and locked the door and lowered her tones so eaves dropping would be at a minimum. "If we didn't have company Tat, I would teach you a lesson right here in this room. Then make-up and remind you of many reasons why you chose me again." Ainsleigh growled at Tatsu.

"Just bein' cordial A. It's nothing to worry yer purdy head over." He reassured her. "So down to business," Tatsu said looking at Nina, "I hope you aren't afraid of heights?" He asked. Ainsleigh dropped the issue for now, because like Tatsu she wanted this moving forward today. "These quarters are okay, but the window opens to the outside onto a great perch branch, but also an easy access for anyone landing to breach the defenses. Walking along the length of the branch we can leap over and about to a second elder tree with good branching structure to build a hanging nest that would be well camouflaged from below and good canopy from weather above. We'd like to build it there. And bukld a screen over the window to mask it like the bark of the tree. She pointed out the window for Nina to see.

"No........" Nina said. "And...... be warned have a torch or some sort of light." She got nervous. She had never thought she would go back home. This was going to be scary for her

Tatsu & Ainsleigh

Tatsu looked at her quizzically. "I think you misunderstand us Nina. We just want to make sure the shadow of the tree isn't a doorway."

As best we can tell, not all shadows lead into the shadow realm. We just want to make sure tat tree isn't casting one of them."

The two of them looked to her expertise. They genuinely believed what they were telling her. Possibly someone had told them that in the past to safeguard the ryori realm.

Nina nodded and tested the shadows only to slip into one.

Blue and Tomen Made Eye Contact and smiled Listening to Juhi and Vee vouch opposing sides. After a moment of silence Blue swished her Tail and turned to Juhi " Aside from the fact of the scent and if his brother is working with him or not, I need your opinion...." She paused leaping up onto Yama's Perch hanging out above the ground. " What do you think about portal magic?" she asked not making eye contact, but instead balancing on the end of the thinning branch.

Tomen was curious as to Juhi's answer, but Blue Leaping on the branch distracted him, he cautiously fluttered a few meters in the air in case he had to catch her, although he was confident he wouldent have to.

Ainsleigh & Tatsu

The familiar voice in the hallway turned the tables on Tatsu for a moment. Ainsleigh heard it as well and paused to look back at Tat. Tatsu used hand gestures to communicate to his mate to continue working with Nina, while he stood beside the door so he wouldn't cast a shadow under the crack of the door and set his ear against the wall to see if he could make out the owner of the 'familiar' voice. Ainsleigh nodded her assent to Tatsu's direction and nimbly climber out the window and over the 12 inches to land on the perch without making much of a sound. She walked out to meet Nina when she saw the little ryori fall into a shadow. "Nina." She called out in surprise but no louder than a speaking voice. She rushed over to the shadow in question but stayed herself from touching the shadow. "Is everything alright in there?" Ainsleigh asked into the shadow.

Nina popped her head out only to be dragged back in. She growled at the creatures that clawed at her and attacked back but more viciously. The creatures screamed. Nina closed the gate and locked herself and the creatures in the Shadow realm. She gasped in shock seeing ryori come rushing at her.
