What are festival zones? I received a perfume of themed attraction,it said it would work for a short time,or steps while exploring festival zones. How does this work?

Festival Zones are areas that are only open during festivals. The next festival will be the Winter Festival, which is projected to start on December 16th. When the Zone opens, you can enter it, then go back to your inventory and use the Perfume to increase your chances of encounting a Zone Themed Pet while walking through the zone (but only for a limited amount of steps).

It's already December 19th though...

If you go to the parts of the site with the "old format", such as the explore page, you can see the bar of announcements at the top. There it is written "Winter Festival scheduled to begin on or around 12/21".

These are projected days, to give players an estimate, and time to prepare resources for the festival. The actual date may or may not be pushed back, depending on how busy the admins are, whether they can finish all the coding for the festival in time, and whether any real life complications or bugs pop up and hinder their progress.

There are only two admins running this entire site, so do try to be patient as they want to release the best and most engaging features for us to play with. ^^
