I imagine the castle is pretty big, and open to the air so that the tribe can visit whenever they wish. A stone palace, likely inlaid with some kind of natural warming system for when winter rolls around, and the walls are solid, for when the ocean floods their island. Every room is large enough to hold several fully grown dragons comfortably, and a few rooms are designed specifically for that purpose.
So yes, likely a few strong towers, and variegated gray and brown, to camouflage with the mountainside it's built into.
