"Kate!" Charzard said she hugged her "now just to wait for sapphire." She said and sat down... "wait i gotta do something."

The kelparie mares frolicked about the field searching for the salmon semi-buried in the snow, The zebra striped stallion was only trying half halfheartedly while keeping an eye upon Dhuka, but the other stallion; covered in glowing runes, was ever watchful to the house. HarleyC watched them for a few minutes, then looked to see Dhuka's disinterest in the fish. He decided to let her be, female morkkos were rather unpredictable this time of year should they be disturbed. Returning to the house, with a bag trussed over his shoulder, he noticed Amara being skittish at the door.He set the bag at the bottom of the porch and waited,because she was skittish enough as it was. Inside, Mermydon watched Maguea back away nervously as his eyes followed the puffadore's path. "Maybe you think kelparie are as dull as our qitari cousins I think. Since some kelpies dwell here among you." Kanakwella arrived from her stable in time for the save. Her voice, unmistakable, caught his attention, then her long front legs entered his field of vision, then her well formed muscular chest and neck. He was pleased at how the vision had bloomed from a filly into a young mare. He dipped his head politely "My queen becomes more beautiful every day. Had I watched you daily I would be no less surprised at how beautiful you have become." In the distance, Sapphire could be seen heading to the stable. Half of the kelparie sped to flight like flying fish to close and challenge the wagon, while two others hoped snowdrift to snowdrift. It was a merry race alongside Sapphire's wagon by the four kelparie, curious of what offerings it had inside. Meanwhile the dark kelparie with the glowing runes called out allowed into the stable house to announce it's coming. Amara was sure to notice HarleyC unintentionally trapping her primary means of escape.

Mermydon turned and looked out. "My valet can't seem to help himself." He said to Princess Kanakwella. As he looked he saw Amara nervously peeking in the door. "Oh look, there is a familiar face, come with me dearest to go greet your guest."

I got there and got off. "Sorry... I didn't mean to be so late... I forgot so.... I didn't get here on time." I said and smiled. Tribun was beside me and Masquerade chirped in my arms. Zant huffed in annoyance.

"Sorry I asked." The elf like woman said taking another cup of nog. Once finished she put the cup away before turning to Pancake. "Guess I'm going to go get the presents and bring them in. Come on Voodoo you can help as well."

Deidriel had never been one to make a grand entrance to any gathering rather, the witch preferred to quietly slip into the background and integrate herself into the situation naturally. It had been quite some time since they had all gotten together like this and Deidriel had changed quite a bit in the interim, quite literally in fact. In the months since Deidriel had taker her transfiguration beyond simply changing gender at will, taking pleasure in becoming various creatures all far from human. Today she was a fawn, white fur, pale skin, and gold hooves offset by a dark cloak which fluttered in the chilly breeze.
Deidriel had chosen a small constituent of sylesti to accompany her to the event, Raka whom had been treated to a little transformation spell to change his colours to a more festive palette, walked by her side.

Also accompanying her was her partner Mist, a graceful blue and lavender male aurleon whom was gliding along in the path of the streetlights. Rigel padded along next to her as well, the female lupes dark coat frosted with fresh snowflakes. And there was one final uninvited guest as well who was following along in the shadows while the group pretended not to notice. After all, it was hard to miss Flicker when she so adeptly represented her name with her twinkling jewelry catching the light every time she slipped out into view of the many multicoloured lights which adorned much of the landscape around them.

Mermydon smiled that the princess should subordinate herself before him; and ignored Heroine for the moment. He responded back in the elder tongue as she did to show her he had been studying some of her cultural quirks. "Woulds't thou that I should escort thee everyday princess, until thy be hailed as queen for true." He lowered his head and dipped his muzzle under her chin to raise it. "Ye honor me greatly your majesty, though gracing myself by your side for tonight would indeed be a most over abundant feast for my eyes." He stepped forward and whispered semi-humorously. "Perhaps this time, we'll have no threat by nutcracker soldiers this year." Remembering how at the last Christmas party she followed him and HarleyC back to Astryl's Tranquility and he having to walk her back to her stables while avoiding ambushes by the Nutcracker Bandits infesting the woods. He placed himself physically beside Kanakwella and bodily separating the demonic vixon from the princess. "Heroine, would I should say it's been too long since we last met. Alas t'would be a lie, save that I would have to miss my dearest in all her beauty." He reported to the vixen, while looking to the princess as the beauty in question. "Since you are here, thou mayest accompany us tomingle with the guests. By and by will Akega be present this even?" He inquired of Kanakwella's brother. Meanwhile HarleyC managed to make it up the stairs and corral poor Amara into having only one avenue to go, and that was through the door. He virtually swept the vixen through so Sapphire and the other guests could arrive. "Excuse me vixen, find your way in there, it'smuch safer and warmer in here than with all of the larger predator's outside." Not that there was much to fear, the kelparie were effectively having a snow spraying fight, with several attempts misfired to try and hit Dhuka. Once inside, he unloaded gifts for everyone under the tree, then had one set aside for the White Elephant Gift Exchange. "Would anyone care for some Spumoni?" He called out setting out a cooler with some sort of ice cream with single scoop cups and plastic spoons and a scoop. "How about it girls, anybody want to take a chance on their sugar rush?" He called and looked at Charzard, Sapphire and Hawkeye in turn. He caught a glimpse of a fawn near the back of the stable, but he wasn't sure right away who she was. Mermydon was paying very close attention to what Kanakwella and/or Mistletoe would have to tell him. He saw and nodded to Raka and began steering his little party toward him.

"You kidding? Of course I want some!" The elf like woma said past a mouthful of sugar cookie. Bored Voodoo wandered about the stables before lightly lifting up into the rafters, tail dangling down. Intrigued Pancake darted forward jumping at the tail that the large bird was gently swimming back and forth. Meanwhile outside the morkko watched the fish horses play bout until one hit her in the face with some snow. At this she growled and grew to her full height in warning before letting out a roar to show she was not in a playful mood.

Kate giggled and swished her tail " Why I'm sure she should walk thro-, Ah there she is! " she said waving to Sapphire before leaning to whisper in Charzard's ear " TO be honest I was Hoping It would give those two some time to get on better terms" she said gesturing to Amara who had just entered and Ziron Who had a slightly displeased look at the Vixen's normal bashful posture as she spoke to Harley whom had returned.

Amara shuffled backwards into the entrance with a wide grin and her tail tucked " Y-Yes, I should " she said before flattening her ears and feeling a gaze at her back as she let forth a small sigh " I should go sit with Kate... It is unkind to leave my guardian unattended " she said it a tone that sounded more regal then her normal self and almost forced

"Darn... I hope we didn't need to bring presents... I was in a rush and I didn't think... I can't even remember if I got any.... Darn..." I said entering, "But I have brought Zant." Zant huffed and walked off. "As well as Tribun who is one of my few griffis and Masquerade." I said. I set down Masquerade who looked at Charzard with curious eyes almost.

Tribun looked around with cheerful eyes and made a chirp. I smiled and remembered. "Oh yeah!" I said cheerfully and grabbed the bag. I was so glad to be with most of my friends.
