...is some of Sylestia"s user base not what it used to be? I just feel like some people are a bit stingier, not as friendly as they used to be. A little more stressed and tensed. It might just be me, but I've been here for almost three years and know, or at least observed, a good number of players here.

i know what you mean there was this bully how i never did anything to or gone in his trends and he yelled at me tolled me he hated me and that he thinks i never shuld have joind and that he said never to go in his trands why i am yuonger then him and most of you and a bite shy but that was mean ya people aruond her are mean these days i'm just a girl with a bad leg and a spelling probulm i know wat he wuold have done if it was in the real world he would have beat me up and since i am a lot younger then him it would have ben illgle by the time he rilised what he did was rong he would have ben in the back of a police car

I see what you mean about the spelling issue, but it is a bit difficult to read what you're typing. Do you not have any spellcheck available?

I'm really not sure. Although, I only started playing the game around 2015 spring fest, and I only started getting involved with the forums in late 2015, so I don't really have a lot to go by... And I'm not very good at judging this kind of thing!

The forums do seem a little dead right now, though.

Yeah. xD I used the forums before then, before they actually change the forum format! (The old forums now would be hard to look at, imo.) But it might just be me. The forums do seem a bit...quiet.

The forums do seem a bit deserted....

The forums.....aren't what they used to be, I can tell you that.
And some users that I found to be my friends haven't been on in ages.
And I remember one time on a festival chat, my friend had PMed me not to go on it for some reasons. Something about an argument and that I'd probably not be welcome there at that time.
But then again, usually I stay in my own corner of the forums in Iotified and my fanfic The Sylesti Kingdoms, so.
I think it's the fact that Sylestia is growing bigger with more and more users joining. It's a little bit less of a large family and more of a website community now. People leave and people come, and I don't think Sylestia can always be the happy little place I remember. Though I wish it would be, there will always be people like trolls and bullies, and that's something that can't be stopped.

Although there are still some AMAZINGLY amazing users out there, ones who make everything better and help you. Especially if you're going through a rough patch. One in particular I can always think of is NBW. Baney is amazing :D
(And all of her Monthly/Yearly checkups are great :P)
And there are a bunch of other users I can think of that helped me try to deal with my situation. So Sylestia is still a warm place, but hot can become a tad cooler if exposed to the right elements.
And I don't think we should judge too harshly on people who are stressed and busy. If you ask me, that's just life. We can't help it if we have a lot going on in our lives.

And can I go back to those amazing users? Maybe there's less and less, or maybe they're just a little bit reserved and you just don't know them well enough or something, but there are a lot of amazing users in Sylestia, and that will never change.

Sylestia is unique to me because of the admins, and the community. Krin and Fai put up with all of our nonsense, and they make this game fun to play because they're absolutely devoted to it. It's the only game I'm willing to spend money on, and for a good damn reason!

Perhaps the forums have got colder. But they're still the warmest forums I know of.
