So, here's my idea. I will have a bunch of nice Sylesties for prizes--Purebred Themed, good-looking Tamed, a few Tagged--and I will place images of them on images from Google Maps, like this image of my Starter, Calamander.

Each player would get to ask me a question about where the pet is: "Is Calamander in Europe?" "Is he in North America?" "Is he in the United States?" "How many pets, total, are in the United States?" "Is he at a school?" "What kind of school is Calamander at?" "What is that statue that Calamander is looking at?" etc.

Every 24 hours, I will post all the questions and their answers. Then all the players each get to ask one more question. The idea is that, by using questions, answers, and (eventually) Google Maps, players can eventually tell me exactly where the pet they want is standing: "I think Calamander is looking at the statue of Wolfie in front of the University of West Georgia Coliseum on West Georgia Drive, Carrollton, Georgia." The first person to post a pet's correct location gets that pet.

I thought of using Google Earth, but some people might not be able to download it.

I think this game would be easier, and play a little faster, than the game I ran last year, where people had to ask yes/no question to find eggs that I had placed all over Sylestia, because I'd be answering a bunch of questions every twenty-four hours. Also, for the last part of the game, when players pretty much know each pet's approximate address, the players would have to use Google maps to try to find the location that matches the image of where each pet is.

What do you think? Does this sound fun? Got any suggestions? Ping me!

For the record, yes, that is my old university. Wolfie is not normally that color; she just happens to be all different colors for this particular statue. And there are five other statues of Wolfie on campus!

This definitely sounds interesting. Would the pets be mostly in famous places? Or would they be in like, super obscure places like a small town literally nobody but the locals have ever heard of so we'd really have to hunt with google maps?

That is an excellent question, Tigerr. I would make sure they were all public places, but I would like for players to need to use Google Maps to find a pet's location.

In my example with Calamander (who was a real sport about this photo shoot), my idea would be that questions would narrow it down to the University of West Georgia. Of course, if you have good eyes, you can see "West Georgia" and the unofficial motto, "Go West," on the sign. Doing a search on those terms would also give you the location. Then, you'd use Google Maps to hunt for the statues of Wolfie. Only one statue is painted like that!

However, I absolutely do not want to make the contest too hard.

What does anybody out there think? Is Calamander's location too hard, too easy, or just hard enough?

For this contest, I will be giving away some good-looking Tamed pets (at least 2 Trait Points and not Mutated), some Purebred Themed, and one or maybe two Tagged Themed. The more valuable the pet, the harder it will be to find. (Each player will be limited to winning only one pet.)
