I was thinking about a way to more easily search for themed offspring for sale. If it's possible in the future, what about adding an ability to label pets with a keyword or two and to then be able to search for keywords on the Advanced Search much like how we can search with usernames.
For instance, say someone wants to buy patriotic zolnixi offspring. The seller could label offspring for sale with "patriotic". The buyer could then add the keyword to search for in advanced search along with checking the options for zolnixi, offspring, and for sale. If a second keyword could be used it could even go a bit further if someone wanted to also use the keyword "original" or "2013" to indicate the original patriotic zolnixies and "new" or "2016" for the newer versions.
There might be other ways to use this as well. Like maybe someone could label pets belonging to a contest they're running.

This would be interesting! And way easier to sell pets too. *yay, is very lazy*
Kind of like a hashtag, right?

If this ever becomes a thing, I can imagine people would want the ability to label things enmasse/in groups. Because labeling one at a time could be tedious (probably as tedious as setting pet prices lol) unless it works like copy/pasting a list of keywords.
It would also be cool if there was a listing somewhere alongside the Advanced Search of commonly used keywords, so that people can filter based on keywords they're interested in, and others can see which keywords are more popular instead of creating more of the same concept (ie themed, themed pet, tagged, and tagged pet all refer to one certain category, so people can find out which keyword will attract more searches).

bringing this thread back to the top.
I really could use a keyword feauture so I could actually name my pets instead of putting something like "NaSD vvccvv" or "6 vis" in their name - all that info would go in the keywords.

Atm, the search is limited by the database structure.
It's not optimized well for searches and that's why it's kinda wonky and restrictive with results.
Some searches literally take like 3+ seconds of just nothing but database searching. That's like 10000% too long already. A database query should never be more than a few thousandths of a second. Most queries return results in ten-thousandths of a second.
3.000 vs 0.003
So if I can figure out how to structure the database better when we revamp, I'll definitely add more searching options. But managing hefty database tables with ~3 million entries can be tricky.
