Yay, just played Pokemon Go for the first time! I chose Charmander as my starter. Went for a walk to the closest Pokestop(park by my house). Went back home after, and found a Clefairy on my street and a Mankey on my front lawn. I caught them both! :3

So, I decided to turn on Pokemon Go and see if there were any Pokemon around. To my surprise, there were 3 Pokemon on my desk! XD I caught them all. There was a Weedle, Diglette, and an Oddish~

So, it would appear that my desk is a hotspot for Pokemon! XD Turned on the game, and this time there was a Bellsprout and a Zubat there~

Pokemon Go launched officially in Canada yesterday, so I went out and tried it for the first time last night. Had a lot of fun and caught 17 different species, including my best catch of the night (and most powerful pokemon right now), Pidgeotto! I also saw dozens of other players wandering around, even thought it was fairly late at night -- the benefits of living in the downtown core of a major city!

So yeah, good times and I'm looking forward to trying out gym battles today.

As Colonel said, Pokemon GO finally released in Canada. I've been playing it almost non-stop. It's a terrible addiction! I live in the downtown core as well and the avenue South of me is like gym ave!!! It's a whole line of gyms for blocks!! I joined team Valor so when I get good enough I'll be trying to take over some gyms, and I can keep my eye on a few because they're surrounding me. xD

I also live by important landmarks, such as the first building that was built in this city, city hall, multiple large parks and important sculptures. There are Pokestops and gyms galore! There are also SO MANY lures around. xD Unfortunately not much comes my way in my building, but everything is within a 2-5 minute walk.

I just got a new part-time job so I'll still have lots of time to hunt and I think there is free wi-fi at work. 8D

I just started vacation today, so I am putting in some serious time into Pokmon Go~ I have 2 Gyms and 3 Pokestops really close by. I'm the opposite of my fellow Canadians, though. When travelling between Pokestops, I almost never run into anything(I got a Caterpie once). However, I just sit at my computer desk, launch Go, and I find 1 to 3 Pokmon almost every time! My desk is Pokmon Central! And I find such a variety too. So, I go out for a walk to get items and check out Gyms(can look at those today), and I catch Pokmon while sitting at my computer! XD
