Willis tested his now-flesh-and-fur-arm out. The ghost of a smile flickered on his expressionless face, "Thanks....."



Meanwhile Jenna might have found some interesting rocks.

"No problem," Knux said, smiling back. He started to walk off. "Just stay out of the North side of the island beyond the mountains. Sandtropolis is not a place you wanna get lost in," he commented before leaving.

He checked the sky and raced through the dense forest, looking for the two dragons.

Shell was in a small clearing, apparently trying to shake the little dragonet from off her azure tail. She walked in circles twitching her tail muttering, "Oh so this is how it's gonna be? First it's not eating the food I presented you, now it's latching on to my tail." The dragonet sqeaked a sound that sounded like a laugh, and clung tighter.

Knuckles walked in as she was saying this. "She's taken a shine to you, looks like," he joked.

"Oh ha ha ha, very funny." she said finally managing to pry the black dragonet from of her tail. She held it up in her front talons, it squeaked and wiggled free. The dragonet scrambled over to Knuckles and promptly sat on his head.



(side note, after some research on dragon size, I figured out that a full grown dragons head is the same height of a human, and dragonets are born smaller than a dragon's talons. So I guess that makes the black dragonet the size of Knux's head? Or should they be smaller/bigger?? Or should the entire species be dwarfed for the sake of the RP)

(Whatever you want to think. I've been envisioning Shell to be about the size of two buses stacked on top of eachother, and the dragonet... big enough to do what she's doing now.)

Knuckles looked up at the dragonet. "Nooo no no no no. Off." he said firmly (he sounded a bit out of his comfort zone, however).

The dragonet squeaked in protest. It crossed it's arms. Shell scrunched up her face deciding whether she should laugh or not. She reached over and plucked the dragonet off Knux's head. The dragonet squeaked complaints but finally gave up struggling as she put it on the ground.

Knuckles let out a sigh of what looked like relief. He looked at the dragonet and then back at Shell. "I don't know if they followed me here," he said quietly. "I may have gained their trust, but I'm not gonna jump to conculsions... They didn't have a choice, I think. They're after the other dragon that was just here. The jet-black one, I mean. The one who claims to be your father?"

Shell was only partially listening, "Hmm." she muttered examining the black dragonet. "Oh, now I get it." Shell said out of the blue. "This dragonet is the real biological daughter of the black drake. How very interesting."

"Where'd you get that--" Knuckles stopped mid sentence and examined the dragonet as well. "...Huh. I see the resemblance,"
