"ohh man, that smarts," Knuckles slowly sat up, rubbing his head. He looked up at Sonic, who smirked. "Was it Rouge? Eggman, perhaps?" Sonic joked. Knuckles flashed him an Im-not-in-the-mood look. "ok, then what happened?" Sonic asked. Knuckles looked at the ground, clearly wanting to send a blow into Sonic's stomach."You had electrical damage, can you explain that?" Sonic asked. Knuckles glanced up at him, "Some jerk set up a trigger of some kind, and i ran into it. Electrified wire. Whoever set it up was looking to do some damage," he looked around, and noticed a dark fox-like creature. "well, its been awhile since ive seen you round here," he said carelessly.

Eclipse grins mischievously. She remebers the occasional small pranks she played on him. Well at least shes finally got his name. Hmm wonder if he remebers the snowball fight they had. Eclipse's instincts and dark fur made her a hard to even see opponent. She tilts her head. The traps are newish. They've been here for a month and had appeared while Knuckles had been gone. There here to catch something but shes not sure what.

Knuckles sighed. Two winters ago this little fuzzball had decided to have a snowball fight. and that time 2 or 3 (it was probably 2) months ago, he was by one of the small rivers, and the critter caught him off guard and shoved him in..... well, it wasn't funny at the time. but she hadn't shown up since then. But why now?

Sonic and Tails helped Knuckles to his feet. Sonic looked at Tails as Knuckles pulled away, taking his position in front of the Master Emerald, arms crossed. "A thank you would be nice," Sonic said, mostly to annoy the echidna. Knuckles looked back at Sonic. typical. He just smirked at the blue hedgehog. Sonic shrugged. "close enough,"

Eclipse snickers but then gets serious. She remebers a time she pushed him in the lake to save him from this weird trap she got hit with the needle instead of him. It made her very ill and shes still a bit sick. Eclipse sneezes. her ears perk up and she looks around. She just heard something. They are being watched and she dosen't know if they are good or bad....though it could just be bokkun both him and her gift each other things. Eclipse has a tendency to pick up shiny or interesting things so she gives some to bokkun. Like money,Games, A system once she kept that bokkun already had one.they both chat as well they have grown close. Bokkun told her he would never tell this docter Eggman guy about her he promises.He has kept that promise.

Sonic thought he heard something, his ears twitching. Knuckles and Tails heard it to. each took a defensive position: Tails crouhed down, hands over head, Knuckles clenched his fists, and sonic bristled his quills and got ready to run. "if this is a robot i swear......" Knuckles growled, winceing slightly. "Well, you shouldn't," Sonic replied nonchalantly. "you know what i meant, smart-alek" Knuckles said, annoyed.

Eclipse is not sure what to do She can't really shlw her true form. Evil people have tried to use her power before. She produces so much power like a reacter except more and her amulet (hiden this time) soaks up the excess so her power/energy dosen't for the lack of better terms kill her from the inside out as her physical body would be destroyed by it. think a ballon to much and it pops...but she just dosen't pop. She is grateful for the master emerald calming her down she would be scared or panicking otherwise.

Knuckles tensed. it caused slight pain but it only stung a little bit. Sonic looked around, ears on a full swivel. Tails experimentally spun his tails several times. "its there..... but i cant tell......"Sonic whispered. "This is not what i wanted to be doing right now," Knuckles growled

"Robots, 10 of 'em" Sonic said. Knuckles went from growl to snarl (he's one of the only people in Sonic capable of doing that) "Perfect," Knuckles said sarcastically. He sped down the temple stairs. "KNUCKLES WAIT!" Sonic shouted, dashing fast enough to intersect him. "I can't let you do it alone, ok?" Knuckles stared at the hedgehog in front of him. "Fine," Knuckles said. And the two streaked into the rainforest.

Eclipse huffs and looks at the two tailed fox. The look on her face say what do we do? Eclipse sneezes again she should be resting but incase the other two can't get all the robots. The kit would need to be protected. she just hopes her sickness dosen't get worse.

Tails sat down and started messing with his watch. he knew that Sonic and Knuckles had it all under control. 10 robots? HA! they'd be back in a minute with nothing more then a scratch. he scratched the fox thing behind her ears.


Sonic and Knuckles stood back to back. "ready pal?'' sonic called. "ready," knuckles growled. "5 and 5?'' sonic asked. "just.......go, or you're next" knuckles said, glaring at sonic. "ok, ok, don't get worked up," sonic said, putting his hands up. then the attack began. sonic fired a spin dash that sent him tearing through 3 robots, dust and lazer fire in his wake."you'd think he'd get dizzy....." knuckles muttered, punching through the nearest robot. three others met a similar fate. the final three were demolished by sonic in seconds. Sonic looked at his friend. He hadn't taken a beating, but he looked utterly exhausted. I guess Knuckles is still weak from the electricity He thought. then he checked his watch. or maybe it's just late
