I almost nod off while Merlot is getting the cart ready, but catch myself in doing so and whip my head around at the others to see if they saw, but sighed in relief as I concluded they didn't.

Well. I hope he has the right family. Although I thought they liked meat more than vegetables... Loreno lost his thoughts as he heard a Zolnixi padding towards them. He hissed,"I hear something."

Chara walked through the Grffis, but received hungry stares. Deciding to hurry up her pace, she dashed forward just as several Griffis lunged at her. Ignoring that, she muttered "So much for being left behind by my group" and took out a bow from it's case.

As the caravan heads into the area, I feel that we are not welcome here. I shift my head to look at the surrounding Griffi and see they are obviously somewhat malnourished. In return for my observing glance, they give me longing looks for food.

I look back to see Chara getting out her bow case. I trot over to her and lean down to whisper something in her ear.

"Don't show any weapons. They are already on edge and if one of us looks threatening, that set might them off. It's an entire population against the group. Just leave it unlocked in case you really do need it." I whisper to her. As I raise my head, I give the Griffi that lunged at her a death stare and turn away, noting that they took a small step back.

I perk my ears as I hear Loreno's voice and stop walking entirely. I start to breath deeply and slip into the crowd of Griffi, ready for anything to happen. If that Zolnixi happened to be a bounty hunter, I'd be dead in an instant.

Silver walked silently behind everyone else. The small Puffadore was hidden among her companions, therefore being left alone. And Silver preferred being left alone.

Chara put it back in it's case, but left it open. Then, she noticed that some Griffis were narrowing their eyes at Loreno. I decide that they were mad at him for traveling with us.

Loreno passed by the Griffis, not even looking at them.

The Griffis up front were . . . Bowing to Loreno? Chara noticed that they had fear in their eyes. She shook off the feeling and continued walking. Something was definitely scaring them. Loreno? She again shook it off, literally this time.

(oops, forgot about this xD are you going to continue the story? Or have you decided to not do this anymore)

(I'm not even sure. It seems like it died out. people who joined stopped writing, or got left behind in the story. I might try to revive it or just start another one at some point.)
